Hay Angus is a small-scale farm, family owned and operated in a sustainable manner,
dedicated to providing your family with ethically grown, premium quality natural beef
available directly to the consumer.
Our certified purebred Angus cows are raised and graze on our farm's green pastures.
The calves stay with their mothers and are milk fed for as long as they need to. They
are grass fed and during the winter they are fed hay harvested from our fields. We use
neither pesticides nor insecticides and our animals are raised without the use of any
hormone, antibiotic and animal by-products.
We have the animals processed at a certified inspected facility where the meat is aged
for 21 days. Immediately after cutting, your beef is fresh-frozen. This keeps it safe from
bacteria, and since beef freezes so well without losing any of its flavour and texture, you
are able to enjoy it exactly when you want it.
Establishing this direct link between farming and consumption gives you, the consumer,
the opportunity to enjoy the meat from our pastures and the honey from our bees and
knowing exactly where the food for your family is coming from.
