🐾Welcoming sweet, fluffy, adorable
Koda puppy to Pluto's Place!🐾

☺️Shy at first, this beautiful 7 month old Samoyed puppy warmed up quickly to our pack! We had a lovely first meeting with his beautiful family before Koda spent a half day with us. Their two daughters were very popular with our beagles. We could instantly see why Koda is so happy and well adjusted - they showed so much love and gentle kindness to our beagles. We appreciate that!

🥰Koda had a very positive first day. As a standard practice on a first visit, we stayed outside with him the entire time to observe and make sure he was comfortable and enjoying his time with us. Needless to say, we were impressed! It was beyond heart warming to watch Koda's confidence grow and he got to know his new friends. New at socialising, he gained confidence quickly by observing and learning from the others, demonstrating impressive social skills for a young puppy. Koda learned quickly how to interact gently and positively with his new pack mates.

🦮Romeo, our daily daycare visitor and official pack"supervisor", loves to mentor new puppies at Pluto's Place and puppies always recognise the guru in him. Romeo takes them under his wing and patiently teaches them everything he knows! Koda and Romeo were glued at the hip - they didn't even care when it started to rain! We have a large awning that covers most of our deck, but they mostly preferred to explore together in the rain (love that!) before lounging together on the deck.

🐶Little Ester, our foster beagle from , was especially fond of Koda, having once had many puppies herself before being abandoned in a forest with her suspected daughter, Marigold (also fostering with us until September). Koda seemed to sense the gentle mothering side of Esther and mirrored her gentleness in response

Koda will meet Miso next week and we can't wait to see them together. Miso is our pack entertainer and loves to run and play! When she gets going, there's no other option but to join in!

April was a great month at Pluto’s place with Romeo, Miso, & new friend, Maverick, joining us for pack walk adventures, sleepovers, and fun time with their pack mates! We love how well everyone gets along and how enthusiastic they are to go on our regular adventures around the neighbourhood trails! 💕🐶🐾

Miso & Maverick met for the first time today and it’s definitely a match! They both love their squeaky Chuck-it balls and playing fetch! Love seeing new friendships bloom at Pluto’s Place! 🤩

We are thrilled to be hosting one of our best girls, Miso, this week!💕 She’s been having a blast with her beagle pals - especially Pluto, who absolutely adores her! M and I enjoyed a nice walk with the pack tonight down by the waterfront. As you can see, these friends love to travel together. It was a beautiful evening🥰

✨Welcoming sweet Maverick to Pluto’s Place!✨
This mild mannered, gentle giant is a shepherd mix - and if you know, you know that shepherds are a well loved breed here at Pluto’s! The beagles were very excited to see their new friend this morning! So far, they’ve been enjoying the outdoors, playing with Kong toys, and getting to know each other! We’re very happy to have Maverick join us as the newest member of our pack, and we can’t wait to introduce him to the rest of our pack! Thank you so much to for connecting us with Denise, his wonderful owner who has raised such a good boy! We are so grateful!🥰

Miso, Romeo, & Styx aren’t bothered by the cooler days. The sun feels warmer and they are positively drawn to it, making up for lost time over the winter! They spent the better part of today out enjoying the sun (especially Romeo!), scavenging treats, chasing balls, and hunting bunnies💕🐶🐾
