Happy International Dog Day to all of the incredible dogs who have made their way through the doors of B&N Wellness. ❤️

From the familiar faces I get to see regularly, to the dogs who have needed a little extra time to decide I’m actually pretty okay every single one of you has made this little clinic what it is.

Thank you to every owner who trusts me to be a small part of their dog’s care, and to every dog who has shared their space, their trust, their kisses, their wiggles and, of course, their snacks with me.

Getting to know each of your dogs and watching them become more comfortable with me session after session is easily one of my favourite parts of what I do.

🐾 THE LONG-AWAITED EVOLUTION OF DRAKEN 🐾

It has taken us HOW LONG to finally get this footage?! 😂

Draken ( Manda Poluck ) is one of my OGs. He has quite literally been with me since day one of my journey into canine bodywork and somehow, between his person and me, we have NEVER managed to capture good footage of this boy.
Until now. 🙌

And honestly, that feels pretty fitting for Draken.
Draken is an Olde English Bulldogge with a whole lot of personality packed into one very powerful, very wiggly, incredibly sweet boy. He knows exactly what he likes, he knows exactly what he doesn't like, and he has absolutely no problem communicating either one. 😂

Working with a dog like Draken has taught me SO much, especially in those early stages of my career. He's taught me to listen. To adjust. To work with the dog in front of me instead of expecting them to fit into a box. And to appreciate just how much dogs will tell you when you're willing to pay attention.

I'm incredibly lucky that Draken's person has been part of my life for many years now, and being trusted to put my hands on her boy has always meant more to me than I can really put into words. ❤️

And for those of you who come to B&N in person and have noticed the tiny black-and-white dog statue in the clinic… now you finally get the backstory. 😂 Draken was one of the very first dogs to discover it, and naturally, it became DJ Draken Junior.

Every time this boy walks through the door, I know I'm in for wiggles, opinions, personality, and SO much love.

No two bodywork sessions are ever the same... and that's exactly how it should be.

Even with the same dog, every session can look a little different.

Some days Emmitt comes in ready to melt into the mat and enjoy every minute of his bodywork. Other days he's all about the snuggles. And then there are days like this one... where he decided being a goofball was at the top of the agenda. 😂

One of my favorite things about working with dogs is letting them have a voice in their session. Emmitt is incredibly clear about what he needs, and my job is to meet him where he's at. We played, we laughed, we still got the bodywork done, and somewhere along the way we both got distracted by something outside the window. 👀

A successful session isn't about expecting a dog to fit into a perfect routine. It's about building trust, listening to what they're telling us, and working with them—not against them.

🐾 A little clinic update! 🐾

As many of you know, B&N Wellness is growing, and we're so excited to be starting preparations for our new clinic space! 💜

Over the coming weeks and months, you may notice construction materials and ongoing work in the clinic yard. While we do our absolute best to keep the area clean and safe (especially since our own dogs use the space too), there may occasionally be items that are easy to miss or temporary hazards as construction progresses.

For everyone's safety, I kindly ask that all dogs remain on leash while entering and exiting the clinic yard. This helps prevent any curious noses from investigating construction materials or adventurous pups from jumping on platforms or other equipment that may be present.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding while we work toward this exciting next chapter. I can't wait to share the progress with all of you and welcome you into the new clinic when it's complete! 🐾✨

Some moments are hard to put into words.

When she first came to see me, being touched was overwhelming. Every session was built on trust, patience, and meeting her exactly where she was. There was never a timeline only listening to what she was ready for.

Today, we reached another milestone.

Thirty full minutes of bodywork.

Not because she had to... but because she chose to stay.

From a dog who didn't want to be touched, to a dog who now melts into the table and doesn't want to get off... my heart is so incredibly full.

Words will never truly express how grateful I am to be welcomed into her circle of trust. She has changed me in more ways than she'll ever know. Every time she walks through my door, she teaches me something new about patience, communication, and the incredible things that can happen when a dog feels safe. So thank you Finn and Treek for these incredible moments!

These are the moments that remind me why I do what I do. ❤️

💜🐾 SERVICES & PRICING ARE HERE! 🐾💜

Now that I am officially a Certified Canine Bodyworker, I am excited to share the current services and pricing available through B&N Wellness.

Whether your dog is a sport dog, senior companion, growing puppy, reactive dog, or simply a beloved family member, every session is tailored to the individual dog and their comfort level.

In addition to bodywork sessions, I am also offering PEMF Therapy as an optional wellness add-on. Many of my existing clients will recognize this as the blue mat that has been available during some appointments. Going forward, PEMF Therapy will be available as an optional add-on for any session with advance notice at the time of booking.

If you have any questions about which service may be the best fit for your dog, feel free to reach out!
