We had a lovely customer in store who brought us a bag of what she had been feeding her dog. Her pup is constantly hungry and is looking to eat anything and everything it can, stomach grumbling all the time… So we reviewed her current food to see what might be a helpful switch. After our talk she has found success in adding a pre & probiotic with digestive enzymes (a healthier option to “hydrolyzed”) and will be trying food that has FRESH DEBONED SALMON as the first ingredient and some whole grains to help the pup feel fuller for longer and with a low glycemic index. The vet food: first real food ingredient is 6 ingredients in and there is NO other ingredient that is a true, whole food item. Would you feed this to your pet or would you prefer a food that has real, recognizable ingredients?
