Exciting news!

We're thrilled to announce that Dr. Sara Toner will be joining our veterinary team in January 2027.

Dr. Toner brings a wealth of experience in equine lameness, sports medicine, and diagnostic imaging, with a particular passion for the English sport horse. After graduating with distinction from the University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and receiving the Large Animal Surgery Proficiency Award, she completed a rotating internship at Moore Equine Veterinary Centre before joining Miller and Associates, and most recently Atlantic Equine Services, where she practiced in both Long Island, New York, and Wellington, Florida. Working in two of North America's premier equestrian communities has allowed her to develop extensive experience caring for performance horses while also contributing to research and publications in equine medicine.

Dr. Toner's connection to the English sport horse world began long before veterinary school. Growing up in Ontario, she rode on the Hunter/Jumper circuit and worked as a groom, giving her a lifelong appreciation for the horses, riders, and clients she now serves as a veterinarian.

As we look toward the future of our practice, we're excited to continue growing our services for the English sport horse community while expanding the depth of expertise available to all of our clients. Dr. Toner will be primarily based out of Synergy Equine while also travelling to clients throughout our practice area, with plans to attend competitions and events across Alberta and beyond in 2027. Her passion for collaborative, evidence-based care and performance horse medicine makes her a wonderful fit for our team, and we're excited for what's ahead.

Although Dr. Toner won't officially join us until January, this is just the beginning. Over the coming months, we'll introduce you to Dr. Toner, share more about her clinical interests, and highlight how her arrival will help shape the future of our practice.

Stay tuned - and please join us in giving Dr. Sara Toner a warm welcome to the team!

🚨 **ATTENTION: WARNING** 🚨

If you bring a mini animal into the clinic, there is approximately a 90% chance
Dr. Travis will take a photo with it.😂

That percentage may increase significantly if you also bring him a sweet treat.
Consider yourselves warned. 🤠🐴🍫

Disclaimer: No mini animals were actually ridden in the making of these photos. Dr. Travis is supporting his own weight — the poses are strictly for comedic purposes. 😉

Smooth digestion starts from within. 💙🐴

Platinum Performance® Bio-Sponge® is designed to support healthy gastrointestinal function in both foals and adult horses.
It can help manage occasional loose manure and digestive upset while binding unwanted compounds within the digestive tract, making it a great option to have on hand when your horse’s stomach needs a little extra support.
