This is my very special boy, Dewey. ❤️🐴

Dewey is the first horse I ever started myself, and I’ve had the privilege of bringing him through every phase of cowhorse. We’ve learned and grown together every step of the way, and he has become so much more than just a horse to me—he is truly a special partner.

Every single time I swing a leg over Dewey, he gives me his absolute all. He has given me so much, taught me so much, and means more to me than I could ever put into words. 🤎

He deserves a new saddle as much as anyone, and I would be incredibly grateful for the chance to win one for my boy. After everything he gives me every time we ride, it would be pretty special to give something back to him.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒂 𝒄𝒓𝒂𝒛𝒚 𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒉 🤯

Our crew had a great show out at Spintastic in Armstrong.
Steve and Dezzy were reserve champion in the ranch hand boxing, and placed 4th in the non-pro boxing!
Sierra and Quincy had their very first show ever, and came out of the pen with scores every time 💪🏼 Quincy even brought home an Open Snaffle bit champion for her first time ever showing down the fence! 🥇

After getting back from BC, I had a few days to move and get settled into my new barn! It’s absolutley perfect, and I could not be more excited to start this next chapter here. 💗

Shortly after the move, we packed up and headed to another horse show! I think this was our best one yet 😏
Dezzy was a star all weekend! He brought home two open bridle reserve champions, $1000 limit boxing champion, and champion in the inaugural Camp Draft class!
Quincy and Sierra had an amazing weekend! I’m so incredibly proud of this pair. Quincy placed in just about every class, bringing home two 3rd places in the camp draft, and 4th and 5th place in the $500 Lim boxing earning her and Sierra their very first cowhorse cheque! 💰

This next chapter is going to be a really good one 🥰❤️

Super proud of 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐣𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 (Missy). This was probably one of the best cutting runs I’ve had, not because it was spectacular, and not because I finally broke the 69 curse 😅 Missy stayed nice and quiet and soft through the whole run! She finished with a 71 taking second place in the Open Ranch. 🥈

I’m very grateful to Whitney for trusting me with her mare ❤️ I’m super excited to watch Whitney show her again, and I know they’re going to accomplish great things 💪🏼

🔥 𝑬𝑿𝑪𝑰𝑻𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑨𝑵𝑵𝑶𝑼𝑵𝑪𝑬𝑴𝑬𝑵𝑻 🔥

There are a lot of changes happening around here this summer.... 𝑹𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒆 𝑲 𝑬𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒎𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈! We will be moving to a facility a little south of Bottrel. I will have full access to a nice big outdoor arena, and a HEATED indoor!

I’m very excited about this move, but it does mean some other things will have to change to accommodate. I will be traveling less for lessons, but you are more than welcome to haul over to my new arena at no extra cost!

I will also have some extra room for training horses August 1! I do have limited spots available, but send me a message or call me if you’re interested in getting your horse in for training! I have indoor and outdoor spots available. All pens have shelters, and all wood fencing. I’m unable to take unstarted horses for now, as I’m not quite set up for starting colts.

I’m very excited for this next chapter, and I’m so excited to finally share this news! 🤩

We’ve been spending more time in the cutting pen this year! It’s been a fun change of pace!

Team 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐊 had a great weekend at the first Calgary Stampede Qualifier!

💅🏽𝓜𝓲𝓼𝓳𝓮𝓿𝓲𝓸𝓾𝓼 (Missy) owned by Whitney Watson-Wilson, made her big two-rein debut. Although we had some tough luck with our cow on the first day, we had some better luck on Sunday and even brought home a 1st place cheque in the NRCHA Open Two-Rein🥇

🐅 𝓞𝓷𝓮 𝓣𝓲𝓰𝓮𝓻 𝓣𝓸 𝓐𝓷𝓸𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻 (Dewey) was a star! Pilot error held us back on day 1 but we pulled it together for day 2 and Dewey brought home a reserve place cheque in the NRCHA Limited Open Bridle 🥈

🎨 𝓜𝓻 𝓐𝓶𝓪𝓭𝓮𝓸𝓾𝓼 𝓦𝓻𝓪𝓷𝓰𝓵𝓮𝓻 (Dezzy) owned by Steve Gibson (Yuke Gib), had a pretty consistent weekend. Dez brought home some money in the NRCHA Limited Open Bridle, and Steve had a big cow score of 71.5 in the boxing! (It’s two bad Clay and I don’t know how to count to 3…. Sorry 😂)

🥃 𝓦𝓱𝓪𝓽𝓪 𝓑𝓸𝓾𝓽 𝓣𝓻𝓸𝓷𝓪 owned and ridden by Steve was 3rd in the $500 limit non-pro cutting 🥉
