Since we are sitting at a 10+ air quality index today I thought it a good idea to remind everyone of the dangers of pets and people being outside at these times. Please keep a close eye on the air quality in your area and depending on the age and health of your dog lower numbers may still pose a high threat to your pet. Keep yourself and your pets safe!

MISSING BOY: PARKER -- 11 YEARS OLD

Can folks in Airdrie, Calgary and surrounding areas keep their eyes open for this young boy? Parker is on the spectrum and his functionality is that of a much younger child.

Parker went missing from a day home in the neighbourhood of Cambrian Heights (Calgary) on THU-JUL-16. While it's hard to imagine he could possibly make his way to Airdrie somehow... what if he did? He is exceedingly vulnerable.

It is recommended that people do not approach Parker if they see him as this may frighten him and prompt him to run off once more.

Instead, they should maintain some distance while keeping him in their sights and call 911.

IF they are able to take a discrete photograph this can help to confirm identify and any changes to clothing.
