Fink is proof that not all cats are scared at the vet!

He has a beautiful black coat, a playful spirit and apparently zero interest in being a stranger. Give Fink a toy and he is ready to play. Give him some attention and he is your best friend. ๐Ÿพ He must have missed the memo about being independent and aloof!

Meet Colette, Edith and Michael!

There's something truly magical about Irish Wolfhounds. ๐ŸพThey may be enormous but behind these towering frames are some of the gentlest and most loving souls you will ever meet!

These three were in the clinic for their annual exams and we could not ask for more affectionate and sweet dogs. It was truly a special visit by a very special trio.

Looking every inch the distinguished Scottish gentleman, MacGregor looks like he should be standing on a misty hillside contemplating his ancestral roots. With a wee pint or dram of whiskey and his bagpipes in hand!

He was our first amazing foster kitty from Heart and Soul and was adopted by a family that absolutely adores him! โ™ฅ

MacGregor is obviously thriving in his new home and we could not be happier for him!

Signs of pain in our pets are not always obvious and they are often experts at hiding it! Being aware of any small changes in their behaviour can provide us with the clues needed to keep them comfortable. If you suspect your pet is in pain, it might be time to book an appointment with the veterinarian to make a plan for management. FVAH is proud to work with Heart and Soul Rescue here in Abbotsford and support the amazing work they do here in the community to help unwanted and abandoned dogs and cats. They are entirely volunteer-run and donation funded and put their 'hearts and souls' into finding every animal they have in their care a home.

Meet Jasper! This beautiful 3 year-old boy is being fostered by us in our adoption room! He is all biscuits, head bumps and belly rubs! Jasper was sadly abused prior to coming into Heart and Soul's care but that hasn't stopped him from showing affection to everyone he meets. He is happy, talkative and willing to drop everything to become your best friend!

Jasper is part Savannah which makes him quite vocal, curious and energetic. He does not like other cats but does very well with calm dogs. Jasper is apparently harness trained and would be a good walking buddy!

FVAH is happy to facilitate meet and greets here at the clinic with Jasper with all adoption applications going directly through Heart and Soul Dog and Cat Rescue.
