The Doghouse is a full-service kennel located on the grounds of the Fraser Valley Institution, a correctional facility for women under the jurisdiction of the Correctional Service of Canada. This program is run by the Langley Animal Protection Society lapsbc.ca. Under the guidance of a professional dog trainer, the program participants are involved in every aspect of the business from animal care

to customer service. This program is also dedicated to improving the lives of stray and unwanted dogs. Special needs shelter dogs come to FVI to receive the extra training and TLC needed to help them find new homes.
