🐱💩 LET’S TALK LITTER! (And a few other essentials!) 🐾💚

Did you know that we go through 16 to 20 bags of pine litter EVERY SINGLE WEEK?! 😱

That’s 640 to 800 pounds of litter each week, costing us approximately $160 to $220!

With dozens of cats and kittens in our care, keeping their spaces clean, comfortable, and hygienic is a HUGE part of what we do. And as you can imagine, the costs add up quickly!

🐾 We could really use your help restocking TWO essentials!

🌲 Pine/Paper Litter: We use an incredible amount of litter every day between our rescue, foster homes, and adoption centres. It’s one of our biggest ongoing supply needs, and we can never have too much!

💊 FortiFlora Probiotics: We go through approximately TWO BOXES every week! These probiotics help support digestive health, especially for kittens and cats experiencing tummy troubles or adjusting to changes in their environment.

❤️ WANT TO HELP?

We’ve added these essentials to our Amazon Wishlist, where you can purchase supplies and have them shipped directly to us!

🛒 SHOP OUR WISHLIST HERE:
https://www.amazon.ca/hz/wishlist/ls/25K0CHM70SAAI?ref_=wl_share

Even purchasing ONE bag of litter or ONE box of FortiFlora helps us tremendously!

Every essential donated is one less expense for our rescue, allowing us to direct more of our funds toward veterinary care, spaying and neutering, and helping more local cats in need. 🐈

And if purchasing something isn’t possible right now, sharing this post is completely FREE and can help us reach someone who might be able to lend a paw! 🐾

From all of us at Abby Cat Daddy, and the many little paws counting on us, THANK MEW for helping us keep our cats happy, healthy, and cared for! 💚

🐾 A NEW CHAPTER IS COMING TO LIFE! 🏥💚

Come take a little walk through our new Community Cat Clinic! 🐱

It’s hard to believe we’re finally standing in a space that we’ve dreamed about for so long. What started as a grassroots effort to help local cats has grown into something we could have only imagined a few years ago. ❤️

First, a HUGE thank mew to Mountain View Home Detailing for doing such an AMAZING job cleaning our new clinic space! 🧼✨ They’ve helped us get one step closer to welcoming our first feline patients!

We also want to take a moment to thank PetSmart, our incredible partners, volunteers, donors, fosters, adopters, and everyone who has supported Abby Cat Daddy over the years.

Every donation, every volunteer hour, every adoption, and every person who believed in our mission has helped bring us to this moment.

This clinic isn’t just a milestone for our organization. It’s a milestone for the community cats of the Fraser Valley and the people who care for them. 💚

🐾 BUT WE’RE NOT QUITE THERE YET!

There’s still plenty to do before we can open our doors! We’re working on stocking the clinic with the medical supplies, equipment, and everyday essentials we’ll need to provide compassionate, accessible veterinary care.

💚 Help Stock Our Clinic!

Every contribution helps us get closer to opening our doors and providing care to local cats who need it.

Breaking news: Hilda has discovered a suspicious little creature following her around. It looks an awful lot like her tail. 😂🖤

Naturally, a full investigation is underway. So far, it has evaded every attempt at capture. 🐈‍⬛

Does your cat chase their own tail too? Tell us about their silly antics! 👇

Third time’s the charm? We’re rooting for you, Chicory and Lupine! 🐾💛

You might recognize these names because these sweet kittens have been adopted before. Their first family discovered they were allergic to cats, and their second home simply wasn’t the right fit, through no fault of the kittens.

Now, Chicory and Lupine have been adopted again, and we’re hopeful this third chapter will be their happily ever after. 🏡💕

Thank mew to their new family for welcoming them home. We’re cheering for a lifetime of love, cozy naps and happy updates! 🥰

Five sleepy kitties, one lap, and a whole lot of purring. 🥹💕

Our RVT is also their foster, and apparently their official heated kitten bed. Volume up for this adorable little purr pile! 🔊🐾

These sweethearts will be at Surrey Boardwalk PetSmart for our craft night event! Come get crafty and meet the tiny faces behind all those purrs. 🎨🐱

For now, they’re busy resting up for their big appearance. Beauty sleep is serious kitten business. 😴✨

From “please keep your distance” to “your lap will do nicely.”

Not long ago, Ciela wanted nothing to do with us. Now look at this sweet grey girl, soaking up the comfort and attention of her foster. 🐾

A little space, plenty of patience, and time to build trust can make such a difference. Watching her discover how lovely it feels to be loved is pretty special.

And the best part? Ciela is available for adoption! She’s looking for a family who will let her settle in at her own pace and keep those cozy moments coming. 💕

Learn more about Ciela on our adoption page at theabbycatdaddy.ca/adoptions.

Thank mew to her foster for helping her feel safe enough to let her sweet side shine. ✨

Someone get the confetti. We’ve had 15 adoptions this month already! 🎉🐾

Chiffon, Cotton, Turquoise and Clover are the latest to trade rescue life for the very important job of running their new households. We wish their humans the best of luck with their new management. 😉💚

And we still have a week to go until National Adoption Week with PetSmart! Plenty more local cats and kittens are ready to steal hearts, claim couches and supervise bathroom visits. Could your home be next? 🏡

Thank mew to our adopters, fosters, volunteers and supporters for making these happy beginnings possible. Every adoption is worth celebrating! 💕
