🦆 Meet Donald! 💙🐾

At about 18 months old, Donald is a sweet, thoughtful boy with so much love to give. He's the kind of dog who forms deep bonds with his people and becomes a loyal companion you'll wonder how you ever lived without.

Here's what Donald's foster family loves about him:
• Affectionate and loving 💕
• Good with other dogs 🐶
• Good listener who already knows "come," "sit," and "down"
• Currently learning "settle" and "wait" like a champ ✨
• Excellent in his crate and happily goes in when asked

It's hard to believe, but Mario has been waiting for over a month with little to no interest.

While other pups have found their forever families, this sweet boy is still hoping someone will choose him. 🥺

The thing is... Mario is doing everything right.

He's friendly, social, and good with other dogs. He'd do best with children 12+ and is ready to become someone's loyal adventure buddy and best friend.

Several potcakes are ready to leave Nassau and begin their new lives in Toronto, but we urgently need flight angels to help get them here. Without travelers, these pups can't make the journey to the foster and forever homes waiting for them.

We're looking for travelers departing from Nassau to Toronto as soon as possible over the coming weeks. Every available flight matters right now.

‼️Urgent Foster Needed for Scrump‼️

Sweet Scrump needs our village once again. 💛

Many of you may remember that we recently reached out for support while we searched for answers about what was causing Scrump additional discomfort after her diagnosis with discospondylitis, an infection affecting her spine. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to pursue further diagnostics and get the answers she needed to get her back on track for her healing journey.

While it sounds scary, she is receiving treatment and has already started medication to help her heal. What she needs most right now is something we can't find at a veterinary clinic: a calm, loving place to recover. 🐾

We are urgently searching for a foster home in the Greater Toronto Area that can provide:
• A quiet, low-activity environment
• Someone able to administer medication twice daily
• Commitment to keeping her activity restricted while she heals
• A little extra patience and love while she recovers 💕

The good news? Scrump is already crate trained, which will be incredibly helpful as she needs plenty of rest during her recovery.

A foster with experience in training, enrichment, or puzzle games would be a wonderful bonus, as keeping her mind engaged while limiting physical activity will help make this healing journey easier for her.

This isn't the chapter we expected for Scrump, but we're hopeful it's a just that. With proper treatment, rest, and a dedicated foster home, we're giving her the best possible chance to recover and get back to being the happy dog she deserves to be and live out the full story she deserves.

Right now, Scrump needs someone willing to open their heart and home when she needs it most. 💛

Happy Birthday to the heart behind Potcake Puppy Palace — our Mama Claire ❤️🥳

For nearly 14 years, Claire has dedicated her life to saving abandoned orphaned puppies. There are no days off, no clocking out, and no limits to how much she gives. Through the chaos, heartbreak, sleepless nights, she continues to show up for these pups every single day with unmatched love.

Because of her, more than 1800 pups have found rescue, healing, and forever homes around the world. That number is incredible — but what’s even more incredible is the heart behind it all.

Claire, thank you for fighting for the ones who can’t fight for themselves. Your impact reaches farther than you’ll ever know, and so many families — and potcakes — have better lives because of you.

🐾Meet Champ 🏆

His name says it all. This little guy has already beaten the odds! Champ was surrendered to the so young, frail, and weak that he almost didn’t make it. Thanks to Mama Claire for giving him a chance, and Milena, who took him home and spoiled him rotten, Champ was able to grow healthy and strong before returning to Potcake Puppy Palace.
Now? He’s living up to his name in every possible way 💛

Champ is the life of the party, the king of zoomies, and everyone’s best friend. He absolutely adores people, loves playing with his four-legged foster siblings, and is always ready for his next adventure. He’s doing amazing with potty training and sleeps through the night like an absolute champ 👑
After a busy day of play, Champ is happiest curled up beside his people for cuddles and naps. He’s looking for a family who will keep him active, love his goofy personality, and save room on the couch for snuggles.
From barely surviving… to thriving. Now all Champ needs is his forever family 🐶✨

PPP Community‼️ We really need your help for our Scrump🤍

Sweet Scrump was finally starting to get answers after being diagnosed with discospondylitis, an infection in her spine. We were hopeful. She had started treatment, and her prognosis was encouraging.

But today, things changed.

Scrump suddenly presented with lameness on one side of her body and significant inflammation in her joints. She has now been admitted overnight to OVC and continues to be overseen by the neurologist while they work to understand what’s happening and keep her comfortable.

Today alone, her emergency care has already reached $4,000 — on top of the $2,000 we have already spent trying to get this sweet girl diagnosed and treated.

We never want money to determine whether an animal gets care. And we always try to absorb as much as we can internally. But lately, we’ve been hit with several major medical cases back-to-back, and the reality is… we cannot do this one alone.

Scrump is gentle. Sweet. So deserving of a chance to heal. She’s already been through so much, and deserves a beautiful long life as a couch potato.

Meet Mario 🍄✨

This little “Super Mario” is ready to level up into his forever home 💚

Mario is a cheerful, playful boy who wakes up every day ready for his next adventure. He’s full of puppy antics — stealing the other dogs’ toys and making giant piles in the living room 😂 — but underneath the chaos is a sweet, gentle pup who just wants to feel safe and loved.

Mario would do best with another friendly dog in the home. Having a canine buddy gives him confidence and helps him navigate new situations. Once he trusts you, he becomes your little shadow 🤎

🍓 Meet Date 🍓

Straight from the Bahamas, this sweet little Potcake from our Dried Fruit litter is ready to find her forever family. At just 4 months old, Date is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly.

She absolutely loves other dogs and spends her days playing with her foster pack. She’s also great with cats and kids, making her an easy addition to a loving home. After some fun outside, you’ll usually find her curled up in someone’s lap for a nap — this girl is a professional snuggler. 🤍

Date is still learning the ropes of puppy life. She’s making great progress with house training, loves her toys and frozen carrots while teething, and is slowly getting more comfortable with her leash and crate.

She can be a little timid in new situations, so she’ll need a patient family willing to help build her confidence with love, consistency, and reassurance. Watching her come out of her shell is incredibly rewarding.

Date is truly such a gentle, adorable soul and will make a beautiful addition to one lucky family. ✨
