Blood basicament is Old Family Red Nose, Old Family Reds (From Ferguson's Ch. Bloodlines in line breeding and out cross. Pure APBT: bloodlines in line breeding and out cross.

“The fact that this group is restricted to Wilder OFRN demonstrates how diverse this once elite group of dogs is.
Wilder had kennels for c**n hounds¹, but he took an immediate liking to the OFRN dogs of Bob Hemphill. When Bob went into the hospital, Jake kept his dogs, and Hemphill died there, sadly.
Hemphill and Wallace were good friends, and they both bred OFRN dogs. They had the same basic foundation stock, but Wallace's dogs were based on Searcy Jeff (half OFRN), which ironically Bob Hemphill had handled in his match against Lightner's Colorado Dan.
One difference was that Wallace didn't sell his dogs to the public, while Hemphill did. Consequently, Hemphill blood is more wide spread, and, of course, Jake Wilder also sold dogs.
¹ ... a dog of an American breed, used to hunt racc**ns. There are several breeds, including the black and tan c**nhound and the bluetick c**nhound.
