Dear Avifriends, maybe you’ve noticed? A new mixture came online on our website. It’s called South American Essentials and is formulated by N&G Aviaries. Nathalie and Geoffrey are passionated breeders especially with conures in their collection since many years. We are working together for a while, adjusting their formula but now this mixture is on point and available for everyone. Notice different vegetable flakes, fig parts and mulberries. And for the adorable smell there is aniseed and fennel seed in the mix. When we produce this mix we almost eat it ourselves 😉.
Have a nice weekend everyone 😃🦜😍.

Hi again Avifriends, more baby news.
Our pair orange winged amazones, amazona amazonica, produced 5 fertile eggs in 1 clutch. We are so proud of the parents. Unfortunately they only rear the first 2 youngs themself so we had to step in if we didn’t want to lose the other 3 eggs. Here you can see the first 2 youngs we are hand feeding, and they are doing great.
We believe amazonica’s are a highly underrated amazon. Imported with thousands at a time in the past, less and less breeding pairs occurre in aviculture. We hope these babies will help to secure a good breeding stock. We keep you updated as always 🦜😃❤️
