Today I received this picture from Morocco…
our Big Mac 🤗

Look at him…
such a handsome boy.

He was one of the puppies who found a home with a Moroccan family —
one of the lucky ones 🤍

I still think about them…
more often than I sometimes admit.
And yes, there are moments it makes my heart feel a little heavy…

But then…
a picture like this arrives.

And suddenly, everything softens.
Because this — this is why we do it.

Knowing he is safe, loved, and growing…
fills my heart with so much joy 🙏

3 of them were adopted 🤍
and I carry every single one of them with me.

and suddenly it’s:

Van Marokko tot België…
overal kan je wel van betekenis zijn.

In 2014 startte ik mijn trimsalon, opvang en heropvoeding van honden.
Wat ooit begon als een experiment groeide uit tot een echte business — eentje waar ik tot op vandaag nog steeds trots op ben.

Ondertussen zijn er heel wat nieuwe hoofdstukken geschreven in mijn leven, maar één ding is nooit veranderd:
de liefde voor dieren.

Marokko heeft een stukje van mijn hart geraakt — en ook een beetje pijn gedaan.
Het zien van het lijden van mijn trouwste engeltjes op straat vergeet je nooit meer.

Waar ik ook ben, ik probeer altijd mijn steentje bij te dragen.

Op dit moment is dat in Lommel, vlak bij één van mijn meest geliefde plekken hier: de Sahara.
Een beetje Marokko… en een beetje België.

De omstandigheden zijn hier gelukkig veel beter,
maar een sprankeltje extra liefde kan er altijd nog bij.

Voor de mensen die mij kennen:
ik sta voor oprechtheid en eerlijkheid.

En eerlijk…
Lu is een hondje waarvan ik met heel mijn hart kan zeggen:
this can be your true friend.

Five weeks ago, Orisha — my 9.5-year-old Border Collie — underwent knee surgery due to a torn cruciate ligament and wear in the joint.

The vet advised 8 weeks of rehabilitation, period.
But my gut told me she needed extra support.

The surgery itself is one thing.
But the recovery process affects the entire body. When one leg compensates, the back, shoulders and muscles start carrying the load too. And at her age, that matters.

The recovery turned out to be heavier than expected. Not dramatic — just real. Slower. More intense. More demanding on her body.

Through friends, I found an osteopath for dogs and animals, and I truly want to share this experience. Because this was new for me too.

After just a few sessions, I can honestly say I see a difference. Not overnight miracles — but visible progress. More balance. More relaxation. Better movement.

If you’re going through post-surgery recovery with your dog,
or if you simply have an older dog dealing with joints, stiffness or aging…

Maybe this can help you too.

Sometimes rehabilitation deserves more than “just wait 8 weeks.”

And as you can see — she’s clearly enjoying the princess treatment. 👑🤍

Dogs have been part of me since the day I was born.
With each of them, I shared a connection so unique. So pure.

And every time one left, I thought:
“I will never have this again.”

But then… another soul crossed my path.
Different in his or her own unique way.
Yet just as special.

This little one being bottle-fed today…
is someone’s future heart dog.

I hope you find that spot too 🙏
Because they truly are angels on earth.

Adopt. Rescue. Love deeply.
