FOR SALE: Three-year-old PRE Baya Perla stallion
Date of birth: 6/1/2023
Color: Baya Perla CrPrl
Asking Price: 6,500 euros
With his baya perla coat, Oro is not only a stunning sight, but he also has a very gentle temperament. He was born here and stayed with his mother until he was 10 months old, living in a group with other foals and mares.
Currently, he is kept alongside other mares, stallions, and foals and gets along well with all the other horses. He will never provoke a conflict himself.
Now that he has turned 3 years old, it’s time for Oro to start working. Unfortunately, we don’t have the time for that ourselves. He is halter-trained, well-behaved on the lunge, and knows the basics of liberty dressage.
He craves more attention and challenges and will be delighted to work for his new partner.
He has undergone a full radiographic examination and was found to be in good health. The examination report is available upon request.
Videos available upon request.
Please note: Oro has a calm and honest temperament, but he is still a young stallion. Experience with stallions is therefore required, unless he is to be gelded in the near future.
Oro is very well-suited for breeding, but also as a riding horse for dressage or working equitation. He has beautiful, ground-covering gaits and a pleasant temperament.
He moves smoothly on a halter and on the lunge and is well-behaved with the farrier.
Oro has a Baya Perla coat color. This means he carries a Cr and a Prl gene, resulting in an almost white coat with a pearlescent sheen, and a light blond mane and tail and green eyes.
He has great presence and displays excellent leg action with three correct gaits.
He is certainly well-suited as a breeding stallion due to his interesting bloodlines, and as a color sire, he can produce a very wide range of interesting colors depending on the mare: Palomino, falcon, perlino, cremello, baya perla, as well as the very rare and sought-after isabelo (double Prl).
His dam, J Cortes Quiza, is a large, beautiful PRE falcon-colored mare with a very gentle disposition toward people. We acquired her five years ago from a well-known breeding farm in Spain, and she has already given us several beautiful foals. Quiza herself is by a Palomino sire and a falcon-colored dam.
His sire, Maestrante, is a PRE double pearl (ggEEAaPrlPrl) stud and possesses all the qualities one looks for in a PRE, with an excellent aptitude for dressage. He has a strong back, natural balance, height (1m71), and sturdy legs.
The second-to-last photo is of his sire; the last photo is of his dam.
It’s time for Oro to head to his new 5-star home, where he can be started right away. Maybe with you?
Finding a good home for our horses is the most important thing. We only sell after a personal visit and meeting with the horse. That way, you can immediately tell if you’re a good match.
