Bijtgeremdheid aanleren aan puppy's ✅️
Één van de vele dingen die wij al jarenlang pups aanleren in onze puppycursus!

Today marks the start of DOG BITE PREVENTION WEEK. Let's go for it!
We can only prevent dog bites by preventing the otherwise natural progressive development of fear and anxiety during puppyhood and ensuring all puppies develop BITE INHIBITION, so that if ever provoked to bite, their jaws would cause no injury. That's why I started off-leash puppy socialization and training classes in the 80's. By giving puppies the Gift of Confidence, they learned to enjoy living in the world of humans without fear or stress and so, without reason to bite.
However, the dog training profession has drifted away from the prime directive of teaching off-leash, group classes to PREVENT FEAR, STRESS, ANXIETY, AND AGGRESSION and nowadays, most dog trainers focus on treatment of existing temperament problems in adult dogs, largely by individual consultation. I am so glad that we archived all my articles, books, seminars, workshops and most important, off leash puppy classes at www.DunbarAcademy.com — hundreds of hours of video and a whole load available for free. As at example, check out the Look Inside Our Classes video at SIRIUSpup.com.
