Calling All Pet Parents & Pet Lovers!

Greetings!

I am conducting a research study on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and the role of pet parents' and pet lovers' knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding the responsible use of antibiotics in companion animals.

একজন ভেটেরিনারিয়ান হিসেবে দায়িত্ব অনেক, মানব স্বাস্থ্যের আমিষের চাহিদা পূরণ, পোষ্য সেবার মাধ্যমে মানুষের মানসিক স্বাস্থ্যের সর্বোচ্চ সেবা এবং একুয়াটিক এনিম্যাল এর সেবার মাধ্যমে বাস্তুসংস্থান এর গুরুত্বপুর্ণ অবদান রাখে একজন ভেটেরিনারিয়ান। গবেষণা ও শিক্ষা খাতে সারা পৃথিবীতে ভেটেরিনারিয়ান এর অবদান অনস্বীকার্য। বিশ্বব্যাপী আনুমানিক ২০–৩০% ভেটেরিনারিয়ান প্রাণী ও মানবস্বাস্থ্য সম্পর্কিত গবেষণা, জনস্বাস্থ্য, জুনোটিক রোগ, ভ্যাকসিন উন্নয়ন এবং One Health কার্যক্রমে কাজ করেন।

বিশ্বে আনুমানিক ১৫–১৬ মিলিয়ন মানব চিকিৎসকের মধ্যে প্রায় ০.৮–১.৫ মিলিয়ন এবং ২–৩ মিলিয়ন ভেটেরিনারিয়ানের মধ্যে প্রায় ০.৪–০.৯ মিলিয়ন গবেষণার সাথে যুক্ত। মোট সংখ্যায় মানব চিকিৎসকদের গবেষক বেশি, তবে শতাংশের হিসেবে ভেটেরিনারিয়ানদের মধ্যে গবেষণায় যুক্ত থাকার হার তুলনামূলক বেশি।
