Founded in 2013, we have grown rapidly. We have rescued countless dogs and presently care for 60+ dogs. HOPE VMS Dogs is registered in the federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina as an association for the protection of Animals. We have rescued countless dogs and presently care for 56 dogs. As of January 2023, we have had 299 adoptions! HOPE VMS run a main shelter where rescued animals can heal. Once
they are fully healed, vaccinated and sterilized they are available for adoption to safe happy homes (we conduct strict checks prior to adoption). With no official funding we rely solely on donations from individuals in the global community to continue or life saving work. We aim to relive the suffering and abuse of Bosnian Dogs through rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing. HOPE VMS is a no-kill shelter providing vaccination, sterilization and other necessary medical assistance to all rescued dogs. HOPE VMS can use donated medicines up to 12 months past their expiry date. We also always can use, bowls, towels, blankets, medical equipment and transportation boxes/cages.
