Hope VMS- Elaine's Dogs HOPE VMS Elaine's Dogs is registered in the federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina as an association for the protection of Animals.

Founded in 2013, we have grown rapidly. We have rescued countless dogs and presently care for 60+ dogs. HOPE VMS Dogs is registered in the federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina as an association for the protection of Animals. We have rescued countless dogs and presently care for 56 dogs. As of January 2023, we have had 299 adoptions! HOPE VMS run a main shelter where rescued animals can heal. Once they are fully healed, vaccinated and sterilized they are available for adoption to safe happy homes (we conduct strict checks prior to adoption). With no official funding we rely solely on donations from individuals in the global community to continue or life saving work. We aim to relive the suffering and abuse of Bosnian Dogs through rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing. HOPE VMS is a no-kill shelter providing vaccination, sterilization and other necessary medical assistance to all rescued dogs. HOPE VMS can use donated medicines up to 12 months past their expiry date. We also always can use, bowls, towels, blankets, medical equipment and transportation boxes/cages. HEROES, YOU SAVED THEIR LIVES. ❤️

You helped save three dogs from a kill shelter. But when Sanela arrived, she discovered two more who needed help, a mother and her baby, waiting in a filthy cage.

Thanks to your kindness, all five were given a chance.

Now, we'd like you to meet them. 🐾

🐶 Sofia, just 9 months old, is a cuddly little girl who clung tightly to Sanela, almost as if she wanted to thank her for saving her.

🐶 Elda, also 9 months old, is another cuddle lover who enjoys being close to people.

🐶 Betty, 3 years old, is a calm and gentle girl who deserves a chance to discover what life can be like beyond a shelter.

These are three of the five lives you helped change forever. ❤️

Their journey is only beginning. They still need veterinary treatment, vaccinations, food and ongoing care, but they now have the chance to receive the help they desperately needed.

Well, did we fool you? 😂

These two little faces might look completely different today, but just look at them as tiny puppies! Can you believe these are the same girls?

With so many new arrivals keeping us busy, we thought it was about time we brought these two back into the spotlight. They're a lovely reminder that our rescue stories don't end on the day a dog is rescued. There are still so many chapters to come as they grow, discover the world around them and wait for their own happy endings.

💙 They came to collect three dogs. Then they saw a mother and her baby in a filthy cage. 😢

THANK YOU to every Hero who donated to save the original three dogs. Because of you, they were given a chance at life.

But when Sanela arrived, she discovered a mother and her baby waiting to be killed too.

How could she leave them behind?

She couldn't leave them behind. Knowing that every extra dog would cost approximately £185 for essential vet checks, vaccinations and other initial care, Sanela had to trust that our Heroes would help make their rescue possible. She went to save three dogs and came home with five. ❤️

🚨 URGENT. If ever three dogs needed their Heroes, it's now. 😢

We have received heartbreaking footage of three dogs sitting in cages. A brave young woman managed to secretly film them, and what we saw broke our hearts.

These three little souls have been sentenced to death by the dog catchers. But we have a chance to get them out, and we cannot let them lose their lives simply because they have nowhere else to go.

We need to raise £115 to cover their release fees, and we're urgently asking our Heroes to help fund their rescue.

🚌🐾 SIX TICKETS TO FOREVER! ❤️🏡

After all the days spent waiting at Hope, the moment we had been hoping for finally arrived...

Matilda, Mirna, Po, Runa, Manja and Gabby boarded the happy bus and had families waiting to welcome them to their new lives. It was finally time for our beautiful dogs to leave the shelter behind and begin their journeys to their forever homes.🏡

Today marks the beginning of a whole new chapter for these beautiful dogs. New surroundings to explore, loving families to get to know, and cosy places to rest their heads. We hope their first days are filled with gentle cuddles, tasty treats and all the love they deserve.

Maya accompanied them to the border, and now they're finally where we've always hoped they would be, beginning their new lives with their families. ❤️

Our darlings, we wish you all the happiness in the world. We love you, and we can't wait to see you blossom! 🐾

Do you remember Jessica and her puppies? The little family whose journey we've shared, hoping they would all find loving homes.

Last month, Jessica and her puppy Alea began their new lives. Now, Norea, Romeo and Pedro have followed, setting off on their own adventures!

They have arrived at their new homes, and it's a big change. Everything is unfamiliar, so they may feel a little confused at first. But with patience, love and time to settle, we know they will blossom and discover just how wonderful life with their own families can be.

Remember the little forest fugitives who turned a rescue mission into a full blown operation? Well, four of those tiny terrors are now firmly part of the Hope family, and they all have names! ❤️

Meet our Forest furries, Frodo, Faith, Finn and Fiona 🐶🐶🐶🐶

After all the hiding, chasing, crawling around and generally making us work VERY hard for them, you would think they might show a little gratitude.

Absolutely not. 😂

They have simply moved on to the next stage of their master plan, cause chaos, look ridiculously cute while doing it, then use puppy eyes to avoid all consequences. And unfortunately, it works every single time. 🤣

So here they are, our four little Mission Impossible stars, safe, growing and already showing us exactly how much personality can fit inside four tiny bodies.
