If anyone is in QLD, NSW & VIC interested in hatching your own Vibrant Red & Yellow Nothobranchius Guentheri Annual Killifish I have bags available to hatch September $40ea Bags. roughly 30 plus eggs. I have traded bags with 250 eggs but I will be separating into smaller quantities as it can be a little bit overwhelming needing more space for larger qty of surviving babies.
If you haven't hatched Killifish eggs before the Nothobranchius take 12 - 20 weeks to hatch. Survival rate depends on your own inventiveness to your fry in separating sizes, feeding and water.
You can message me for a more in-depth recommendation of how to hatch, fry tub setup, water, food etc.
I have many grown or growing out if your interested instead of hatching eggs yourself, please let us know we have many F & M available.
Freighting outside locally is becoming difficult so I need to send F much more discreetly as the freighting companies are now using auspost and have strict list of things they will accept. So I will purchase the connote for the freighting company without mentioning fish. It's the only way to do it unless your ok with paying $150 - 300 for a private pet freighter. Which we are not! I would not expect anyone to fork out that kind of money for fish delivery. Startrak freighting is $66 includes insurance & is a 2-3 day delivery. We order for pickup Monday or Tuesdays so the fish arrive before the weekends.
Eggs are sent off with Auspost Express, I put the bags inside a takeaway tub and then wrap them in bubble wrap. $15.20 (includes all regions)
By law is illegal to sell fish and eggs to WA, TAS & NT.
