🐾 So far this year we’ve given 664 vaccinations to cats and dogs which helps to keep them safe from common contagious infections 🐶🐱❤️
If we’ve vaccinated your pet before we can now send you reminders when their vaccinations are due but if you think your pet might be overdue already, simply give us a call and we can check their history for you 📜
Please keep in mind that if you’re travelling a lot of kennels require your dogs to be vaccinated at least 2 weeks before their stay if they are overdue for a vaccination.

We understand that visiting the clinic can sometimes be stressful for both pets and their owners! 🐶🐱

If your furry friend needs veterinary care but you’re unable to make it into the clinic, whether due to transport difficulties or mobility issues, a home visit may be the perfect solution.

We also offer end-of-life care at home, allowing you and your beloved pet to spend those final moments together in the comfort and familiarity of home. ❤️

Wonky the goose came to see us after his owner noticed he had injured his wing. Thankfully, x-rays showed no broken bones! We’ve bandaged his wing to help limit movement and give the injured soft tissue the best chance to heal 🩹
For now, he will be strictly on bed rest but we’re sure he’ll be back causing mischief and enjoying his favourite swimming spot in no time 🏊 💦

🎶 We've been everywhere, man 🎶

We travel on any day we can! 🚗The only restriction is our time availability!

Most days you’ll find us out on farms around Flowerdale, Glenburn, Molesworth or Ghin Ghin, but if needed we can travel further. Earlier this week Dr Erin racked up a massive 250km in one day 🏕️ If needed we can also see horses, calves, sheep and goats right here in the clinic. 🐴🐮🐑🐐

You name it and we’ll find a way to make it work! 💚

Pregnancy testing for Autumn calving is well underway! In the last fortnight our vets have tested just under 1100 head of cattle across the district🐄🐄
Dr. Anthony is in the lead having pregnancy tested 564 of those cows - more than half of them in just one day! 🏆👏 Dr. Erin and Dr. Liz are fighting it out for 2nd place with only 16 cows the difference between them. Good work team 💪

ChooChoo 🐑 came in for a visit because her owner noticed she seemed a bit sore on her feet.
Given they had travelled all the way from Kilmore, for peace of mind and for future reference, we took x-rays of all four legs (can we say WOW! Congratulations to Dr Erin for tipping a 100kg sheep 💪). Thankfully, no abnormalities or evidence of underlying bone or joint disease were found. Examination by Dr Liz and Dr Erin identified mild inflammation in one hoof which was likely the cause of her discomfort. We sent her owner home with advice on how to treat the condition using supplies they already had at home and we're happy to report that ChooChoo is now feeling much better! ❤️
