The moments of calm amongst the chaos that is an extremely intelligent yearling Shetland c**t 🫣 Saturday it was pouring with rain and Pol got a Bowen treatment which BJeans felt that he couldn't be left out of but then promptly got bored of just standing with me. Sunday BJeans went for his first walk down the road with Pol to provide support, turns out support wasn't really needed as BJeans thought getting to go new places and see new things was excellent fun and he wasn't particularly impressed when I said we had to turn around and go home before my legs gave out completely 😰

Spring time competition 💜💜

I was hoping to do a comp sharing spring time shenanigans but when I brought the boys back to get ready for showing they got through the gate, put their heads down and didn't move!

So instead, I'm going with a tongue twister and guessing game...

Starting the transformation from feral mud monster to show pony...we started with a body and mane wash and then he got all rugged up to try and keep him clean! I love the Earlwood Equine dual season rugs for this time of year!

Did you know that Happy Hangars can easily hang 20kg and can possibly handle more? This was the biggest bucket I had to do this test with!

What odd things do your ponies like to eat? My old horse loved to eat oranges, rind and all. Pol will only eat citrus if there is nothing better available but adores sour straps. Apparently the grass and lucerne rated better than the mandarin. Daisey didn't mind that she got it instead ☺️
