Baby Leo and Cecil

Enjoying a nice play session. They can be caught most days doing this. Equally matched in play styles it’s a favourite of mine to watch.

Leo was born here and as he grew we added him to this herd so that our head mare Emerald could teach him to be a good citizen and he could learn herd dynamics. It’s been super successful and these two finding their play match was just a bonus!

Over the years we’ve had a few couples that matched and played like this Magnus and Duke were one! Dukey hasn’t played like this with anyone since Magnus left - they don’t always find their person but when they do it is pretty special.

Hope Texxy will stop being the grumpy old man and play with Leo like this in his new digs so he can continue to enjoy his playtime. Leo’s pretty persistent in asking so I’m sure he will 🤣

Our whole Jorayla crew had a successful day out yesterday at their home clubs show jumping day.
Once again I forgot to get a picture of them all in the same place at the same time- oops 🤦🏼‍♀️

This new duo our standout for the day.

Phoenix only recently joined us from Nathan Dunn Racing so this was their first comp together and they took home the goods!
You just can’t beat giving them a thoroughbred.

He is still working on his fitness for this new gig so needed a Nanna nap by the end of the day as you can see here in this pic🤣

A month off the track and SAFELY piloting around his 12 year old jockey through cross country like he’s been doing it all his life.

Brinzy today getting a touchup ride in preparation to take another of the younger generation on the leap from pony to big girl horse.
Watch this space!

He had been enjoying his winter off and it shows in his shiny obese dad bod 🤪
A little stiff but he gets all the supportive care in the world and will hopefully limber up with a few more gentle rides on the board.

It took us kissing a few frogs to find you but I’m so glad we finally did.

To see this beautifully built hoof under there makes our hearts so happy. It means our full horse approach, friends, forage and freedom, NO grain with balanced nutrition works 😍

Hard to tell with a 2 dimensional picture but IRL the concavity 👌🏻 and that rolled hoof wall is like 2cm thick.
Trimmed to the hard sole plane, No overlaid bars contracting heels, gah - I legit could not be happier 🙌

The best part of all… I don’t have to do it!
