Are you a teenager who LOVES horses and would love the opportunity to gain real experience working around them? ❤️

We are looking for a reliable, confident and bubbly young person to join us at Pony Tales!

This isn't just a job — it’s an opportunity to learn, build confidence, work with horses and gain valuable experience working with children.

🐴 You MUST have good, practical horse experience
👧 You need to genuinely enjoy being around children
😊 A bubbly, friendly personality is a must
⭐ Reliable, responsible and willing to learn
🎉 Comfortable helping with our kids' pony/horse parties and activities
📅 Mainly Saturdays mornings 10am -12, with Sundays and school holidays often available

You will be working alongside me owner operator Kerry James and learning how a small horse business operates, while gaining hands-on experience with our horses and our young riders.

This could be a fantastic opportunity for the right young person who is serious about horses and wants to get their foot in the door.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a position for someone who simply likes horses. We need someone with genuine horse experience, who is mature enough to be reliable and confident working around horses and children.

POSITION AVAILABLE. This isn't just a job! Its a wonderful opportunity for a young horse enthusiast to learn so much about our equine family.
Pony Tales Riding Centre is also Krystal Creek Arabians therefore our workers and halter club kids are fortunate to follow the journey of pregnant mares, newborn foals and as those foals grow to mature horses enjoy a saddle career. Many of our students have watched this over the years. Im still looking for that special person, that person to stand by my side and help Pony Tales continue to grow. Id like to give a big shout out to a young lady who has been coming to Pony Tales nearly from the start and now works for me at our parties and holiday functions. RUBY 😆 ive watched this young lady grow and build her confidence both with all our halter club kids and the horses. Ruby has never failed me when asked to work shes always keen always functional and polite. Thankyou Ruby.

Are you a teenager who LOVES horses and kids? 💕🐴

We’re looking for a confident, experienced young horse person to join our team and help with our kids’ horse parties and activities.

✨ We’re looking for someone who is:

🐎 Experienced and confident around horses
🐎 Able to ride confidently
😊 Bubbly, friendly and full of personality
👧 Great with children and able to keep them engaged and having fun
🧠 Responsible, sensible and safety-conscious
⏰ Reliable and punctual
💪 Happy to get stuck in and help wherever needed
❤️ Most importantly – someone who genuinely loves horses and enjoys working with kids!

Work will mainly be Saturdays, with Sundays often required, as well as during school holidays, particularly when we have parties, activities and events booked.

Previous experience working with children would be a bonus.

This would suit a teenager who is looking to gain valuable experience working with horses and children in a fun, hands-on environment.
