🌿🐾 Plants Can Be Dangerous for Our Pets 🐾🌿
Many common flowers and garden plants found in Southeast Queensland can be toxic to our pets. Whether they're growing in your garden, brought home in a bouquet, or sitting in a pot indoors, it's always worth checking that they're pet-safe.
Plant poisoning may include:
• Vomiting or diarrhoea
• Excessive drooling
• Lethargy or weakness
• Loss of appetite
• Tremors or seizures
• Difficulty breathing
• Collapse
💚 Our tip: Before adding a new plant to your home or garden, take a moment to check whether it's safe for pets. A little research can help keep your furry family members safe.
If you're ever unsure whether a plant is toxic, our friendly team at Moreton Bay Vets is happy to help.
🐶🐱 Because big or small, we treat them all.
