🐱🐶👑🏆 PUBLIC HOLIDAY WEEKEND REMINDER 🏆👑🐶🐱

A reminder that our vets will be available for EMERGENCIES ONLY from 5pm Wednesday 21st September - 8:30am Monday 26th September. All small animal emergencies will be seen at our LEONGATHA Small Animal Clinic (32 Anderson Street, Leongatha) over the long weekend.

If you have a small animal emergency during this time, please call 03 5630 8050 📞

No small animal clinics will be open for routine appointments/medication collection or retail sales on any day of the long weekend. A surcharge applies to all afterhours consultations.

🐱🐶👑🏆 UPCOMING PUBLIC HOLIDAY WEEKEND 🏆👑🐶🐱

A reminder that our vets will be available for EMERGENCIES ONLY from 5pm Wednesday 21st September - 8:30am Monday 26th September. All small animal emergencies will be seen at our LEONGATHA Small Animal Clinic (32 Anderson Street, Leongatha) over the long weekend.

The extended long weekend to honour the Queen's life and the AFL Grand Final means our clinics will be closed for 4 days. If your pet requires ongoing medication or a revisit before the upcoming weekend, please call to arrange this ASAP.

💊 💊 UNUSED PET MEDICATIONS 💊💊

In line with the government initiative to dispose of human and pet medications safely, you will no longer be able to return any unused or out of date medications to our clinics. We are unable to re-dispense any returned medications as we can’t be sure of their storage conditions/viability whilst not in our clinics. Instead, we recommend return to your local pharmacy for appropriate disposal.

🦠😷 MASKS ON 😷🦠

With another wave of COVID sweeping through our community and Victoria as a whole, we ask all our staff and clients to please wear a mask during consultations. Social distancing is not possible whilst holding your pet for examination so we are extremely reliant on masks to reduce viral spread.

If you forget your mask when you arrive at the clinic our reception staff will be able to provide you with one. If you are unable to wear a mask due to a health exemption, a nurse will hold your pet while the vet examines/treats it in the treatment room while you wait in the waiting room.

Please respect our efforts to try and minimise the spread of COVID within our clinics. Our aim is to keep staff as healthy as possible so they can be present to look after your pets.

We will be available for EMERGENCIES ONLY over the Queens Birthday day long weekend (from 5:30pm Friday 10th June until 8:30am Tuesday 14th June) with all small animal emergencies being seen at our LEONGATHA veterinary clinic.

Seems it’s not just staff feeling unwell at the moment, our phones are currently down at our Foster and Inverloch clinics.

If calling Foster you will automatically be redirected to Leongatha reception.

If trying to call Inverloch please call our Wonthaggi clinic on 5672 1044.

🤒 🦠 COVID STRIKES AGAIN 🦠 🤒

Unfortunately a significant number of our staff are in isolation due to COVID. Please bear with us as we shuffle staff and appointments to be able to attend urgent cases. This may mean you don’t get to see a specific vet or we need to postpone/cancel your non-urgent appointment/surgery. 📆

If you are visiting the clinic we ask that you please wear a mask and advise reception if you are feeling unwell before coming inside. 😷
