Anaky Samoyeds

🐾 Let's talk Samoyeds!

They're fluffy, friendly and full of personality!
Samoyeds make wonderful family dogs. They're affectionate, playful and love being involved in everything the family does.
But they also have a cheeky, stubborn side and aren't afraid to tell you what they think!
They need regular grooming, exercise and plenty of attention, but in return you'll have a loyal, loving companion who's very much part of the family.

Who else has a Sammy that thinks they run the household? 🐾

🐾 FROM THE VAULT | A Little Anaky History

An old favourite from the photo archives!

Our love for Samoyeds began with our first Sammy, Akhen, and in 1994, Anaky Samoyeds was established.

Over 30 years later, there's been plenty of dogs, puppies, shows, ribbons and wonderful memories along the way!

We've always loved showing our dogs, but raising happy, healthy Samoyeds with beautiful temperaments is just as important to us.

A lot has changed over the years, but our love for this beautiful breed hasn't!

Keep an eye out for more memories from the vault!

A throwback to August… and a very special return for Woody 🤍

After 16 long months out of the show ring, August was a pretty special moment for Woody – BISS CH Anaky Reach For The Sky.
He was back. 💙

There was no focus on placings or ribbons that day. Just seeing Woody standing in the ring again, happy to be there and doing what he loves, was more than enough.
It had been a huge road back. Woody had been through multiple surgeries, followed by months of rehabilitation and a whole team of people working to get him strong and comfortable again.

A massive thank you everyone involved - for everything that went into getting Woody back to this point.

And look at that face in the photo. He knew exactly where he was and he was SO happy to be back! 👉

Woody has nothing left to prove. He came incredibly close to his title before COVID shut everything down, made his way back after that, and then faced an even bigger battle.🥊

August wasn't about winning.
It was simply about Woody being Woody again. 🐾
One very special Anaky boy. 🤍

Meet Shadow. He is 2 1/2 years old. He is such a beautiful boy. Excellent health results. He just doesn't love showing. He is an Aust Champion. But he would rather learn tricks than run around the show ring. He is available to the right home.

I have a beautiful 2 year old male Samoyed available to the right home. Contact me via phone for more information. I won’t be answering messages. He is one of my show dogs. He is an Australian Champion. Health tests all great. He just doesn’t love showing. He does love training though. So anyone interested in obedience or sports he’d be perfect ph 0499643959

To my friends, family, work family, Anaky family and Retreat family

🚨 Have Your Say on the Future of Alkoomie Place, Wilton 🚨

A Draft Planning Proposal is currently on exhibition that would allow approximately 450–550 homes to be built in the Alkoomie Place area.

While we understand Wilton will continue to grow, we believe growth must be supported by the right infrastructure, road capacity, bushfire planning and community services.

Of particular concern to our family is that the proposal, in its current form, includes residential development, road infrastructure and a possible reservoir over land occupied by Kylie's K9 Country Retreat, placing the future of our long-established family business at significant risk.

📖 View the proposal:

📝 How to make a submission:
• Complete the online feedback form on Council's website
• Email: [email protected]
• Post: Wollondilly Shire Council, 62–64 Menangle Street, Picton NSW 2571
• Quote Reference: CM R/2026/22/1

⏰ Submissions close 5:00pm Thursday 25 June 2026.
Please write your submission in your own words. We have been advised by Council that identical or copied submissions may be grouped together and counted as a single submission. A short submission explaining your own concerns and how you believe this proposal may affect you, your family, your business or the future of Wilton is far more effective.

Thank you for taking the time to understand the proposal and have your say on the future of our community.
