MASSIMO QUALITY (IMP) BWP – 2012 – 16.3 hh Bay

We really shouldn’t be surprised, Massimo Quality is by French jumping star, Mylord Carthago, who has competed at the highest levels of Show Jumping throughout the world. 'Mylord Carthago' is not only by the great ‘Carthago’, but he is out of one of the greatest broodmares in the history of Jumping, Joris de Brabander’s ‘Fragrance de Chalus’.

https://www.jorisdebrabander.be/en/paard/fragance-de-chalus

He is now the leading sire around the world, with many top line horses competing at high levels within the sport. Massimo’s Dam line is just that – Quality!

'Quidam de Revel' led the Selle Francais breakthrough. Suddenly jumping breeders all over the world wanted a French stallion, but not just any French stallion, international jumping star, and the number one jumping stallions on the world rankings, 'Quidam'.

It gets better, on the next line we find the great 'Galoubet', and on the dam line, 'Tanagra', the 'Furioso' daughter who also appears again on Massimo’s top line as the dam of 'Jalisco B', giving Massimo Quality 3 crosses of this amazing mare.

Massimo Quality has proven to be a winner in the ring, taking out a range of ages classes and producing exceptional young stock, with many of his foals awarded ‘Elite’ and ‘Premium’ status with the ACE group.

Massimo Quality has produced offspring for Jumping and Eventing with outstanding results within Australia and internationally.

This is jumping breeding at the cutting edge. This is the future of the sport.

SIRE HIGHLIGHT - Calgary GNZ

Calgary GNZ, standing at Finch Farm for the 2025/26 season, is a proven competitor at Grand Prix and World Cup Level. As a sire, he has multiple progeny competing at a high level of Show Jumping and Eventing. Calgary GNZ has outstanding confirmation with flashy white markings and a rich bay colour. Combine this with tremendous athleticism and work ethic, giving him a great combination of pedigree, type and ability.

His sire, Casall needs no introduction. He is a prolific sire of international sport horses as well as a winner of multiple Glabal Tours and Grand Prix classes, placing 4th at the World Championships as well as competing at the Olympic Games.

The dam of Calgary GNZ is Henkel's Countess who competed in Germany, the USA and Canada with great success before retiring as a broodmare. Her sire, Calato is an exceptional sire and outstanding broodmare sire.
