Progress is something worth celebrating 🙌

As producers of fresh pet food since the 1940s, we've seen a lot change over the decades. For FOUR generations, our family has believed that dogs thrive on real food. Fresh meat, real ingredients and nutrition that works with their biology, not against it.

Today, it's genuinely exciting to see the industry moving in that direction.

Many of the biggest names in pet food that once relied heavily on corn, wheat and highly processed ingredients are now incorporating more real animal protein into their recipes. Fresh rolls and refrigerated options are becoming more common, and pet owners have more choice than ever before.

We don't see that as competition. We see it as progress.

Because at the end of the day, it's always been about helping more dogs and cats live healthier, happier lives. If more businesses are embracing fresh, species-appropriate nutrition, more pets stand to benefit, and that's something worth celebrating. 💚

One of the most common things we hear in store, "I feed kibble because it cleans my dog's teeth".

It's one of the biggest myths in pet nutrition, and we completely understand why it's so widely believed.

Think about it this way. If eating a handful of dry biscuits cleaned your teeth, your dentist would be out of business.

The reality is that kibble shatters the moment a dog bites into it. It doesn't scrub the teeth like a toothbrush. Instead, most pieces break apart and mix with saliva, leaving starchy residue that oral bacteria can thrive on.

Healthy teeth aren't about eating something dry. They're about mechanical cleaning, which is exactly what nature designed dogs to do.

Raw meaty bones gently scrape the tooth surface as your dog chews, reducing plaque build-up while giving the jaw muscles a proper workout.
