Max has got a sparkling new smile!

Beautiful Max visited us at Baw Baw Paws for his dental scale and polish. He did wonderfully under anaesthesia, recovered smoothly, and is now heading home with lovely clean, fresh teeth!
A big thank you to Max’s family for trusting our team with his care and bringing him in for this important procedure.

Meet Handsome Bailey! 😍

This gorgeous boy, Bailey, recently visited Baw Baw Paws for his castration (desexing) procedure. We’re happy to say that Bailey’s surgery went well, and he recovered smoothly from anaesthesia. He’s now doing great and back to being his happy, handsome self! 🥰 A big thank you to Bailey’s wonderful family for bringing him in at the right time and making his health and wellbeing a priority.

Why is castration important for male dogs?
Castration can provide several benefits, including:

 Prevents unwanted litters – helping reduce accidental breeding and unwanted puppies.
 Reduces the risk of certain health problems – including testicular cancer and some prostate-related conditions.
 Can help reduce certain behaviours – such as roaming, urine marking and some hormone-driven behaviours.
 Helps with responsible pet ownership – contributing to better overall pet population management.

🐾 Remi’s Journey: From Pain to Recovery ❤️

Remi was a happy and healthy girl until her family noticed some accidents at home and blood in her urine. They knew something wasn’t right and brought her in for a check-up.

Our team performed further investigations, and X-rays and ultrasound revealed multiple large bladder stones causing her discomfort.

Thanks to her family’s quick decision, Remi underwent surgery to remove the stones and is now back to her happy self — enjoying life, feeling comfortable, and receiving lots of love at home. ❤️

A big thank you to Remi’s family for trusting our team. Early attention can make all the difference for our furry friends. 🐶🐾
