🐾❤️ Brave Boy Maui ❤️🐾
Last week, sweet Maui, an 11 year old Staffy, wasn't feeling quite like himself. His family noticed he was very flat and not his usual happy, tail wagging self, so he came to see our team.
After being admitted to hospital, our emergency vets performed a range of diagnostic tests, including imaging and blood work, to investigate what was making this handsome boy feel so poorly. The results showed that Maui needed an exploratory surgery to help us find the cause and determine whether his spleen needed to be removed.
Maui was an absolute superstar throughout his stay, winning hearts with his gentle nature and brave spirit. 🌟🐶
The best part? Post-operatively, Maui bounced back beautifully! He was bright, happy, and eating like an absolute champ 🍗😋. Seeing him tuck into his meals and wag his tail again was the highlight of our week.
Now, one week later, we've received a wonderful update from his mum: Maui is doing incredibly well and doesn't even seem to realise he's had major surgery! 💙🐾 He's back to enjoying life, keeping his family on their toes, and reminding everyone just how resilient our furry friends can be.
We're so proud of this gorgeous boy and grateful to his loving family for trusting us with his care. Please join us in celebrating Maui's recovery and wishing him many more happy, healthy days ahead! 🐕✨

Kings Birthday Hours 👑

Theo the golden Retriever puppy came in over the weekend after eating a super long Chux cloth 🤢 Luckily we were able to induce emesis and bring it back up before it caused a blockage.

A friendly reminder to all pet owners — if your dog eats something they shouldn’t, contact your vet as soon as possible. The sooner they’re seen, the better the chance we can safely bring it up before it becomes a much bigger problem 🐾
