Mel’s Dog Walking & Pet Minding Services is proud to be a trusted and well-known name within our local pet-loving community. Due to growing demand for our professional pet minding and dog walking services across Brisbane North, we’re looking for some amazing new team members!
At the heart of our business is a genuine love for animals and the families who adore them. We’re looking for reliable, caring and compassionate animal lovers who share our passion and want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets every single day.
If you’re enthusiastic, trustworthy and passionate about providing professional, high-quality care to furry family members, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Need:
✔️ A valid driver’s licence
✔️ Must hold or be willing to obtain an ABN
✔️ Legal right to work in Australia
✔️ Reliable vehicle
✔️ Smartphone with internet access
✔️ Strong written and verbal communication skills
✔️ Genuine love of animals and handling skills
✔️ Confidence working with a variety of pets
✔️ Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
✔️ Strong time management skills
✔️ Ability to work independently
✔️ Willingness to undergo a background check
✔️ Live close to our service area
Your Role Will Include:
✔️ Representing our business professionally
✔️ Providing loving, attentive care to pets
✔️ Respecting clients’ homes and property
✔️ Strong time management and scheduling skills
✔️ Clear communication with clients and the office
✔️ Using a smartphone for visit logs, updates and photos
Animal studies qualifications or animal first aid/CPR certification are a bonus, but not essential.
Most importantly, we’re looking for people who are dependable, compassionate and genuinely passionate about animals. ❤️
