📢 Notice of Special Resolution Meeting – Dog Groomers Association of Western Australia (DGAWA)

The Dog Groomers Association of Western Australia wishes to advise all members and interested parties that a Special Resolution Meeting will be held on:

The purpose of this meeting is to consider and vote on the proposed:
- New Committee Structure and members
- Constitution update and changes
- Structure of Memberships
- Direction and future of DGAWA

We encourage all members and non-members to review the information provided and participate in this important decision-making process.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who has taken the time to complete the DGAWA survey so far.

The response has been overwhelming, and we are genuinely grateful for the honesty, thought, care, and constructive feedback that has been shared.

DGAWA is currently analysing all survey responses, and every piece of feedback is being considered with gratitude and with a focus on how we can turn ideas into meaningful action.

We know there is work to do. We also know that rebuilding trust, strengthening our structure, and reshaping DGAWA into the best version of itself will take listening, transparency, and commitment.

DGAWA Is Entering a New Chapter

The Dog Groomers Association of Western Australia is currently reviewing its structure, constitution, membership options, fees, benefits, and future direction.

We know DGAWA needs to rebuild trust, strengthen its purpose, and better support the grooming industry across WA. This is more than a small update. It is a full reset focused on transparency, professionalism, education, member value, and stronger industry representation.

As part of this process, we would love to hear from groomers, students, salon owners, mobile groomers, educators, suppliers, sharpeners, wholesalers, distributors, and pet owners.

We have created an anonymous survey so you can share your honest thoughts, ideas, concerns, and suggestions.
