You have to love it when you bath your own fur kids and they find an old roo tail they stashed straight after their bath and now absolutely stink 🤦‍♀️😂😂

I'm sure people think when they pay a home salon or any groomer for their dogs groom 100% of that money goes to the groomer.
Here's an actual breakdown
Groom cost $100
GST $10
Tax $20
Consumables $10
Insurance $4
Sharpening $4
Power & Water $3
Total paid to me $49
Most grooms take around 2 hours so that price pays me $24.50 an hour.
Would you work with dogs that sometimes want to bite, clean up the toilet accidents and be on your feet all day for $24.50 an hour?
Please think before wondering if your groomer is charging too much.
Our expenses are constantly rising so our prices have to keep up with this.
It's not an easy job where the puppies give you kisses and wag their tails all day.
Most groomers myself included love working with dogs and do our very best to make each one feel calm and special during grooming but make no mistake - it's not easy and our running costs are not cheap.

Most people think dog shampoo
Is just dog shampoo and one kind fits all.
This is a misconception.
A dogs coat is as varied as human hair- some have itchy skin, some have curly coats, some straight, some coats are dry etc.
Most groomers invest an extraordinary amount of money and time working out the best products to use and have a huge range of different types to ensure they are giving your dog not only is best possible look but ensuring healthy happy skin underneath that look.
The wrong shampoo can leave your dog itchy, uncomfortable and just not looking their best.
At Sweet Az we use 100% natural shampoos - Hyponic which is derma tested and safe for all skin and coat types. One of the most premium shampoos on the market and we don't charge extra for it.
It's worth asking your groomer what products do you use on my dog?
Believe me it makes a difference.
