🐴 SOUTH WEST BIT FITTING RUN – EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST!

📍 Busselton & Margaret River Region

Is your horse strong, heavy or downhill? Reluctant to travel forward into the contact? Head tossing or resisting? Or simply not feeling quite right?

Or perhaps you’re not experiencing any particular issues, but simply want peace of mind knowing your horse is comfortable and you’re using a bit that’s kind, appropriate and suited to their individual needs.

Sometimes the smallest changes can make the biggest difference to your horse’s comfort and way of going.

I’m looking at bringing my professional bit fitting services to the South West for ONE of the following weekends:

📅 Option 1: Saturday 31st October & Sunday 1st November

📅 Option 2: Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th November

💰 $95 per horse (flat fee- NO additional travel fee)

What’s included?

* Assessment of mouth anatomy
* Ridden evaluation with currently bit + trial bits
* Trial bits with a range of brands including; fager, bombers, Liberte, caelo and more!
* Full written report
* Support sourcing/ ordering recommended bit

I’ll need a minimum of approximately 10 horses to make the trip viable.

This is an expression of interest only! Once sufficient interest is received, I’ll confirm ONE weekend and open bookings.

📩 Message Tiarna Newbold Equestrian with your location, number of horses and preferred weekend to register your interest!

I’m a qualified bit fitter. But I don’t always have the answers…. 💭

And I think being able to acknowledge that is part of being a responsible professional.

Horses aren’t black and white. Their comfort, behaviour and way of going are influenced by so many factors, and sometimes the bit is only one piece of a much bigger puzzle. 🧩

That’s why I approach every bit fit as a collaboration, not just a consultation.

You know your horse best. I bring my knowledge, experience and an outside perspective. Together, we problem-solve, ask questions and work towards finding what suits YOUR horse.

My goal isn’t just to find you a bit. It’s to give you the knowledge and confidence to understand why we’re making certain decisions.

Every bit fit includes a detailed, clear report so you have the knowledge, findings and recommendations to refer back to long after your appointment. 📁

Plus… my support doesn’t end when the appointment does.

Your horse deserves more than a one-size-fits-all approach.

If you’re an equestrian who values understanding over quick fixes, asks questions and wants to be actively involved in finding what works best for your horse, you’re exactly the kind of owner I work with. 🤍

October final Bit Fitting Availability 🐴

October is filling up, with only a few dedicated bit fitting days remaining!

📅 Saturday 17th October
📅 Saturday 24th October
📅 Sunday 25th October

Appointments are available at TNE in Nowergup for $80 per horse, or I can come to you for $95 per horse.

I also have limited weekday availability around Bullsbrook, generally around mid afternoon.

Each fit looks at the whole picture — your horse’s mouth and conformation, current bit, way of going, education and your goals. Where possible, we’ll also complete a ridden assessment, trial suitable options and discuss recommendations, with a full written report provided afterwards.

Can’t make any of the October dates?
November bookings can absolutely be discussed, so send me a message and we can find a day that works for you.

📩 DM me to secure a booking or discuss November availability.

Hands down my favourite feed I have ever used is the Pegasus Feeds liberty pellets from Wanneroo Stock Feeders 💛

🌾 High fat. High fibre. Low starch. NO cereal grains.

Liberty provides slow-release energy without relying on grain, making it a great option for horses needing a low NSC, low GI diet.

Personally, I’ve found it fantastic for putting condition on horses or maintaining condition and muscle without making them fizzy.

It’s an incredibly versatile feed that I’ve found works well for a huge range of horses — particularly those that need condition and energy without the “hot” behaviour that can come with higher-grain feeds. ✨

With the Perth royal show around the corner I thought I’d share some of my favourite royal show photos with one of the best partners I’ve had in my career, Windiva! 📸

I will definitely have serious fomo watching all our amazing showjumpers out competing this year, but wish them all the best of luck!
