Due to a decent volume of either no shows or late arrivals I have no choice but to now introduce a fee for these occasions. Now I understand some late cancellations/arrivlas can’t be helped and the charges will be waived in those situations at my own discretion. But to continue operating this lovely business I can’t just pay my employees to sit around and do nothing if we don’t get any or enough notice to fill appointments. This includes if reminders are not sent as we make sure to give out appointment cards when appointments are made so really there is no excuse to no show without warning.
Fees will now be as followed
- No show (with absolutely no communication that you’re not coming) will be your full appointment fee before your dog is booked in again with us.
- Late cancellations (12hrs or less from appointment time) will be half your appointment fee before your dog is booked in with us again.
- Late arrivals, depending on how late services may be declined or adjusted(say instead if a full groom just a tidy of hygenic areas)
Sorry to have to do this but I need to value my time, my employees time and the time of my other clients to not have to push their appointments back or do a dodgy job under pressure. (Which is never the goal!) (honestly if you don’t like something about your groom, tell me I’m more than accommodating when reasonable requests are made!
