We provide a safe, engaging and enriching environment for ALL dogs, with a mix of play, training and chill time every day. If you’ve always wanted to enrich your pups life with daycare, but thought they might not be able to cope, you’ve come to the right place. Through experiences early in life or more general personality traits, some dogs need a little help adjusting to the multi-dog experience of daycare. We’re here to provide a safe place where they too can share and benefit from an enriching and engaging environment, under the supervision and training of our qualified staff.

🐾 We’re heading to Doggies Day Out at Whiteman Park!

Future Proof Training Academy is excited to be supporting Doggies Day Out at Whiteman Park on Sunday 27 September, and this year we’ll be helping to lead the behaviour side of the event and a enrichment space!

The day kicks off with a Quiet Hour from 10–11am, designed to provide a lower-sensory start for dogs and people who may benefit from a little more space and a slower pace.

Our team will be there to help owners read what their dogs are communicating, recognise when arousal or stress may be increasing, and make practical decisions about when to continue, create some space, take a break or call it a day.

For us, a successful day out isn’t about your dog meeting every dog or coping with everything happening around them. It’s about helping them have an experience that works for that individual dog.

After Quiet Hour, Doggies Day Out continues with local pet services and products, family activities and plenty of dog-friendly fun throughout the day.

We're incredibly grateful for the overwhelming interest in our Dog Daycare! 💙🐾

Over the past few weeks we've received a huge number of enquiries, and while we're so excited that so many families want to join our community, we wanted to explain why joining our daycare isn't an overnight process.

At Future Proof, daycare is much more than simply supervising dogs while you're at work. Every dog in our care becomes part of an established social community, and protecting the welfare of both our current dogs and new arrivals will always come first.

That means every enquiry is carefully reviewed, every dog completes a pre-daycare assessment, and every successful applicant is gradually introduced into the appropriate social group. We don't move dogs into full daycare until we're confident they are comfortable, safe and ready.

🐶 Why does this take time?

Because successful daycare isn't about filling spaces—it's about creating the right relationships.

We're looking at things like:
• Social communication and play style
• Emotional regulation and confidence
• How your dog responds to new environments
• Compatibility with our existing social groups
• Whether daycare is the right environment for your dog's individual needs

Sometimes this means introducing dogs slowly over several visits before they attend full days, and sometimes it means recommending a different service first.

It's also important to know that daycare is not the place for dogs to learn social skills if they are already struggling with interactions, experiencing fear, or displaying inappropriate social behaviour. Those dogs deserve a tailored behaviour or training plan where they can learn at a pace that sets them up for success. Once they're ready, daycare may become an appropriate option—but rehabilitation happens before group care, not within it.

At the moment we do have a waiting list while we carefully work through assessments and introductions. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding. Our team will contact you as soon as we're able to progress your enquiry.

Thank you for trusting us with your dogs. Taking our time now helps ensure every dog has the best possible experience for months and years to come—and that's something we'll never rush.
