🐕🐩 NADAC TRIAL 🐩🐕

The new NADAC trial date is Sunday October 25th at the Wallan Secondary College Oval.
It will only be a 1 day trail.

Will need a minimum of 4 people (6 would be ideal) to be there at 6:30 to help Shirlene and Wendy set up.

🐾 SUN 18th TRAINING IS AT WANDONG🐾

MELINDA'S CLASSES:
Set up is at 8.00am
Start times:
Canine Connections - 8.30am to 9.15am (Intermediate)
Foundation Fun and Focus - 9.45am to 10.30am (Puppies and Beginners)

Both classes please bring a chair, a mat, an extra lead, and a few different tug toys. You will be learning how to use a tug toy when training your dog.

Make sure you bring SOFT, CHEWY, DELICIOUS easy to eat food or treats. NOT YOUR DOGS NORMAL DRY FOOD!!

NO BREAKFAST for your dogs. Hungry dog are more eager to learn.

AGILITY:
Set up - 8.00am
Start time - 8.30am

NAIL TRIMMING:
Tanya will be there with her trailer.
She will be available throughout the morning to trim your dogs nails or give you advice on all things grooming.

Walk tomorrow.
We will start from Tallarook outdoor pool , where there is parking available.
Meeting at 9 am for a 9.15 am start . You can all choose how long you would like to walk for, depending on age and fitness of your dogs, it is a nice easy flat walk . If your dog needs space please attach something yellow to his collar or harness so others are aware . See you there ☺ 🐾

Would anyone be interested in another walk this Saturday ? We are getting good attendance so I would like to keep our social walks going. Obviously they will be weather dependant. These are a fabulous way to get your dogs, of all ages , out with others dogs . Please comment below if you're interested and if am or pm suits you best . Location will be decided if we get enough wanting to attend ☺ 🐾

🚨 🚨 🚨 Meeting near the Cricket Club in Kilmore at 9.15 am, for those interested, so we can head off for a walk at 9.30 am . Hoping we get a few members , we can easily do 2 seperate walks depending on age and fitness of dogs attending 🐾

Is anyone interested in a walk tomorrow? Say 9.30 am start . I'm open to suggestions for location ☺ 🐾 Extra points if we can do a shorter walk for puppies and seniors and a longer walk for those that would like to walk further 😉

NADAC TRIAL POSTPONED

Due to the wet grounds and safety concerns at the Wallan oval.
The NADAC trial for this weekend has been postponed.

The new trial dates will be announced next week.

Sorry for any inconvenience this has cause, but the safety of all dogs and handlers is paramount.

🫳MASSAGE TRAINING SESSION🫴

Minda from WoofandHoof is going to come and do a massage training session on Sunday the 11th of October.

In this session you will learn how to massage your dog after a day of agility or training, or just for the everyday well being of your dogs overall body health.

Minda will guide you through the massage and stretching techniques you will be applying on your dog. You will also get a booklet showing the techniques to take home.

The cost is $30 per dog for the 90min session. Starting at 9.30am.
We will need a minimum of 4 people attending, to proceed with this training. And a maximum of 10.

If you are doing this training with Minda please number yourself off in the comments so we can let her know how many people are attending.

INTRODUCTION TO SCENT-WORK

Liz from Pawthfinders will be doing a 4 week course starting on November 1st at the LB Davern Reserve, Wandong and continuing for the next 4 Sundays ( 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd)
Start time is 10am.

The course is $250 per dog.
This must be paid at least 2 weeks prior to the start date.
If you are unable to attend with less than 2 weeks notice, you will need to find someone else to take your place before you can get a refund.
There is a maximum of 7 dogs per session.
(If more that 7 dogs have applied, we will organise extra sessions and dates)
