He’s such a sweetie 🥰 just not when I start to groom😥
Last appointment I was able to clip his coat short and reset it with a plan to keep his coat short and low maintenance going forward. Today’s appointment was more of a desensitising session with a bath/dry Tidy groom. More exposure of some grooming tools and sounds hoping to create some positive experiences and build from that. Unfortunately I didn’t come out today unscathed a little bite early on while accessing him❤️‍🩹 there’s always risk when working with animals. We did enjoy some cuddles at the end😌and he seemed really sorry for biting me🥹🐾

Gorgeous guy was in for his regular scheduled deshed/ tidy groom🐶🛁🐾
Sometimes I feel like it’s 2 steps forward one step back but he’s really come so far from when he first started coming. Not a fan of being groomed he definitely lets me know when he’s not enjoying himself but at least he lets me give him some affection before and after his groom now💗 no before photos as it’s straight to work with him and he’s now letting me get some after ones🥰🐾👏👏
