Comic arrived at Penny Lane Park and was sold to the first person to view him! He will stay here for a couple of weeks to get him back in the swing of being back in work. Then he will head to his new home!

16.3hh | 12-year-old Thoroughbred Gelding
By Commands (and we all know how adorable they are!)

Comic retired from racing in 2019 after racing over jumps, so he already has a solid jumping foundation.

Following his retirement, his owner planned to pursue dressage with him. While she had ridden all of his trackwork, she found he was simply a bit too big and forward for someone learning a new discipline. Since then, Comic has enjoyed a bit of trail riding as well as plenty of beach rides, and has proven to be a lovely horse to have around.

He is a good doer, easy to handle, and great to do everything with.

Comic also spent time with a young lady showing him in led classes, giving him plenty of exposure to the show environment.

Comic enjoys having a job and would love a home where he can continue to be active. His owner is committed to finding the very best home for him, and he will always be welcome back if circumstances ever change.

He is currently in paddock condition and is being sold out of work. (See photos for his paddock Dad Bod!)

Comic is not suitable for beginners or nervous riders due to his size and presence.

If you’re looking for a big, handsome Thoroughbred with a lovely nature and plenty of potential to continue in many disciplines he may be your man!

This little guy is an absolute gun of a pony! Having done years of PC, horse trials, showjumping and games. Although has been away from it all for a few years. I was worried as he can be a bit cheeky, and was going to need a top little rider. But we found the perfect rider and the perfect home.

I’m absolutely wrapped for this pony, I swear he was smiling doing stuff again!

This is the perfect outcome for all involved!
