Meet Apollo 😻🐱

This handsome boy recently visited us for his castration (male desexing), and he absolutely stole our hearts! Apollo was the sweetest, smoochiest little gentleman and soaked up every cuddle from Vet Nurse Tabrett during his stay. ❤️

He was such a brave boy throughout the day and gave us plenty of purrs and affection in return. 🐾

Thank you for being the best patient, Apollo! We can’t wait to see you again for future cuddles. 🐱✨

🚫 Rat Bait & Pets – Important Info 🐀

We’ve recently seen an increase in rat bait poisonings, so we wanted to share some important information.

Rat bait is commonly used and extremely dangerous to our pets. ‼️ Always store it securely at home and stay alert when out and about, as bait may be present in public areas.

If using rat bait at home, opt for anti-coagulant types (e.g. warfarin, brodifacoum). However all types are toxic and should be used with caution. Always check the ingredients and keep the packaging.

Signs of poisoning may include weakness, pale gums, bleeding, breathing difficulties, seizures, or kidney issues. Symptoms can be delayed! 😫

If you suspect ingestion, gently wipe your pet’s mouth, locate the packaging, and contact the clinic immediately on

Natalie, better known around the clinic as “Toz”, is passionate about building strong connections between our practice and the community. She has a special soft spot for the feistier feline patients, as well as a keen interest in wildlife and exotic animals that constantly inspire her curiosity and compassion.

Toz is known for her deeply empathetic nature and is our go-to nurse for providing gentle, compassionate end-of-life care—ensuring every pet, and their people, feel supported through every stage.

Outside the clinic, Natalie’s life is full of energy and love, shared with her two children, Sienna and Maddex, her Border Collie, Norbit, and her cheeky green-cheek conure, Peaches. When she’s not in scrubs, you’ll likely find her decorating cookies, attending concerts, or bringing her signature Toz enthusiasm to everything she does.

This handsome little man visited us recently for his desexing procedure and was an absolute superstar throughout 💛

He was so well-behaved for his pre-med injections and recovered beautifully afterwards, with plenty of well-earned cuddles from our nurses, of course 🐾
