Dougie's Legacy Animal Rescue is run by three friends Emma, Leanne, and Deb. We take on animals from the local animal shelter in Wagga as well as other shelters outside of Wagga. We also take in surrendered animals when the owners can no longer care for them to give them ALL another chance at a happy home. We take on foster carers who take animals into their home and care for them until we find th

e best home suited to each animal. We do our best to provide all vet work each animal needs while in our care and are a non-profit animal rescue. All donations go to our animals, for their vet work, food, and other related necessities they need while in care.

💜 Sometimes the sweetest hearts just need a second chance, 10 year old Mazie is looking for her person 💜

This is Mazie. She’s 10 years young, gentle, chatty, and has spent her whole life being loved. Now she’s looking for someone to spend her days with — someone who’s home a lot, who loves slow walks, garden time, and a little companion by their side.

She doesn’t need much. Just you.
And in return, she’ll give you loyalty, love, and the best lap-warming cuddles a Pom can offer.

Meet Archie & Jude: 💫☀️
If you are looking to double the love, double the laughs, and bring a whole lot of personality into your home, look no further than Archie and Jude (aka Joodle). This 6 month old bonded pair of chosen brothers is the perfect mix of wild-hearted adventure and structured supervision.

Thought they may not be biologically related, they sought out each others comfort when they needed it most. When Archie came into care, he had been abused. His tail was paralysed due to being pulled and yanked is kinked in 2 spots. We are pleased with his progress, as he now has gained back movement in the upper half! Jude was in a very bad way when he first came into care and was very malnourished, this little guy is truly a fighter!!! Due to this he has a very sensitive belly and can only tolerate specific food and has since developed asthma which is managed daily and treated as needed.

Why They’re the Perfect Pair
Archie and Jude balance each other out beautifully. While Archie ensures there is never a dull moment with his massive zoomies, Jude keeps the daily schedule running smoothly. They both share a love for high-energy play followed by fierce affection, making them a wonderfully entertaining duo to watch and love ❤️
