Just 20 mins up the freeway from Adelaide CBD and you will come across Paws-A-While Boarding Cattery. A quiet and peaceful setting with the native wildlife providing plenty of stimulation for your feline friends. Established in 1993, Christine Colyer has owned and run the successful business for 23 years. Her love for all cats and dedication to their happiness and well being is proven by the return of many happy clients. Each unit is a generous size and has access to fresh air and sunshine during the warmer months. They can also be closed up during winter to take full advantage of the heaters, heat pads and cosy bedding. All units have two shelves, their own heat pad, scratching pole, chair, bed and carpet box as well as plenty of clean bedding to maximise comfort. Paws-A-While caters for most feline diets ranging from supermarket brands right through to prescribed veterinary diets. Other dietary requirements are available if arranged prior to boarding. All medical and individual needs are catered for. All cats are kept separate from each other except family groups ie. 2 cats from the same house may go into one unit. Each cat is given its own individual attention including brushing and cuddles daily. Paws-A-While strives to be a home away from home for your feline companion.

20 years ago to the day I started working at Paws-a-While Cattery.
Little did I know I would still be here, enjoying the job even more than when i started and my boss's (Christine and Arthur) would become part of our family.

It's been a busy 20 years - I bought a house, got engaged, married and had 2 beautiful children.
Without Christine and Arthur's flexability, support, and understanding I definitely wouldn't be where I am today and I am incredibly grateful for the love they have given my family over the years.

Thank you to all our clients. Every day I get to enjoy someone's fur baby, bond with them and let them know they are safe with us until their owner comes home.

I look forward to the future - working with my amazing friend Christine and taking care of all your beautiful feline companions.

Love,
Tammy McCarthy 😺
