This isn’t an easy post to write, but I always believe in being open and honest with you all.
From July 1st, I will be taking two months off from grooming. Due to medical issues including adrenal exhaustion and burnout, I have been medically advised that I need to significantly cut back or I risk further complications with my health.
As many of you know, I pour my heart into every dog I groom. I care deeply about what I do, and about all of you and your fur babies. But right now, I need to listen to my body and prioritise my health so that I can continue doing what I love long term. I would much rather take the time now to properly rest and recuperate than push through and risk being unable to continue grooming altogether.
When I return, I will also be reducing the number of grooms I complete each day. As much as it truly saddens me to say, I will no longer be able to accommodate high-anxiety or behavioural grooms, or dogs whose size or condition requires significant additional physical strain. This decision has not been made lightly — it is purely about ensuring I can manage my workload safely and sustainably moving forward.
I understand this may be disappointing for some, and I am so grateful for your understanding and kindness during this time. Your support means more to me than you know. ❤️
