Next up was Arlo and we continued working on his skills around other dogs. We went to Bunnings and we seriously saw more dogs than I have ever seen before! He did really well and he disengaged from dogs and ‘looked’ at quite a few. We also practiced settling with distractions moving around. I am a super impressed with his progress ☺️🐾🐶

This guy always puts on the most serious face trying to get his photo treat! However, he is such a great dog to train. His human has been giving him lots of freedom utilising a long line for walking because they have a fabulous space near their house. We worked through some cues for the long lead, introduced the ‘touch’ cue and practiced how to ‘look’ at other dogs. We also talked about some barking behaviour at home with the other household dog. He is super smart and he picks up on the skills so quickly 🐶☺️🐾
