Animal Raindrop offers training courses in Canine Raindrop Technique and Equine Raindrop Technique. Please send us an email to register your interest.

Whether you want to learn this modality for personal use or you would like a career as a Raindrop Technique Practitioner, we have courses to suit. Face-to-face courses are held in South East Queensland (Australia) and online courses are held nationally and internationally.

A week ago we kicked off the Equine Raindrop Technique practitioner course. There were a few showers we had to dodge but overall the weather was kind to us. 🌦️ Today we have had 130mm if rain in 3 hours and we're flooded in! 😮 The dam has almost broke its bank. So grateful this weather held off long enough! 🙏🌧️

Another successful course comes to an end. Day 4 of the Equine Raindrop Technique practitioner course was a day filled with pampering horses. 💞🐴 First up was a session I'll always remember. One of the students performed a Raindrop Technique on the oldest horse I've ever known to receive this modality. "Pebbles" is an impressive 44 years old!! She recently had an eye removed and her beautiful owners thought she would benefit from a treatment. 🥰 It was such an honour.

Standing alongside her was a gorgeous Waler horse called "Pippa". She too very much enjoyed it. ☺️

This afternoon was the practical assessment and for that session we had "Mo", a 16.3hh Warmblood! He lapped up all the attention, but the student almost needed a stepladder! 😁 And "Winter", a gorgeous Brumby who had some beautiful releases throughout.

Thankyou, thankyou to everyone that offered their horses for the students to practice on, and much gratitude to the students for attending this course so that more horses can be helped. 🥰

That's a wrap for 2026! I look forward to kicking off again in Autumn 2027. 😁

Thankfully the rain held off for Day 3 of the Equine Raindrop Technique practitioner course. 🙏 After sitting the written exam this morning, the students watched me perform a Raindrop Technique on "Summer", a 6 year old Brumby. She was incredibly curious about the Oregano oil and then became expressive when it came to Wintergreen oil. Wintergreen works on the skeletal system and it was suspected that she had something going on in her hip. It's always great to "unlock" things. After the session she enjoyed going for a canter in the arena. 😊🐎

This afternoon the students performed their first Raindrop Technique. We had Mikey and Fleck, 2 miniature ponies, as the lucky recipients. Once again it was very interesting to see parts where they relaxed and parts where they told us that something was going on. Different for both ponies but in line with what the owner had noticed. Fleck, who had been stiff in her movement was moving quite freely by the end. It was so lovely to see!

Day 2 of the Equine Raindrop Technique practitioner course 😁🐎 This morning we went through the forms that both the owners and practitioners complete. I'm proud of these forms and really feel they represent the professional nature of this modality. Owners receive a 2 page information sheet as well as an in-depth Health History Form for their horse. Depending on the health will depend on how the session is modified for that individual horse.

This afternoon the students practiced the reflexology and massage moves on 2 beautiful Brumbies - "Fern" and "Dingo". They were perfectly behaved and even had some releases from this bodywork. 😊

We're back at it again 😀 This time with the Equine Raindrop Technique practitioner course! Day 1 kicked off and the students learnt all about essential oils and how they work on the horse's body. Following this we talked about the origins of Raindrop Technique and the benefits felt by horses. And one important part of the course is horse-handling including body language as this technique involves working on the hind legs of the horse which is the kick zone. Students had to display their competency by catching, leading and lunging a horse. It was a big day but a fun day! 😃🐎

Well that's a wrap!! 😁😁 Another Canine Raindrop Technique practitioner course comes to an end - the final one for 2026.

Today the students had their practical assessment. Our lucky dogs were "Zinnia" the Poodle and "Clover" the Poodle x.

This was Zinnia's second time at a student clinic and she lapped up the pampering. It was perfect timing as she'd been competing the previous night at dog agility so the massage did her wonders!

And this was Clover's first ever Raindrop Technique and she loved it, giving the student lots of kisses afterwards.

I'm so excited to have more people trained in this technique, including now someone from New Zealand!

It's always fun when we get to the practical sessions of the Canine Raindrop Technique practitioner course and Day 3 didn't disappoint! After getting the written exam over and done with this morning, the students met the first dogs that were brought for them to work on.

ALFIE the Pomeranian
This was Alfie's second Raindrop Technique as he was brought to one of the student clinics last year. He thoroughly enjoyed being pampered. 🥰

STELLA the Maremma x Golden Retriever
This was Stella's first Raindrop Technique and she is a young dog. In the beginning she was quite unsettled but by the end she had fallen fast asleep! So amazing to see the transformation. 🤩

For the second session of the day we had JOSIE the Staffy.
This too was Josie's second Raindrop Technique as she came to a student clinic last year. She can be anxious but it was heartwarming to see her relax towards the end.

RUBY the Cavoodle
This was Ruby's first time and she went from anxiety to very calm quite quickly.

I'm so proud of how my students did today! 😃 And so appreciative to everyone who brought their dog. 🙏🐾

A fun-filled Day 2 of the Canine Raindrop Technique practitioner course! The students practiced the massage moves on the demo dogs (who absolutely loved it as you can see from the video)! 😄 We then went through the comprehensive forms that the owners complete so that the practitioners get a complete overview of the dog's health. After lunch the students made up their diluted set of oils, ready for the practical sessions tomorrow. And we finished the day with me demonstrating a full Raindrop Technique on my Border Collie. ☺️

Day 1 of the Canine Raindrop Technique practitioner course! 🥳🐕‍🦺 I was honoured to have my first international student attend. 🙏😃 All the way from New Zealand! It was a lovely day where the students learnt all about essential oils and how to safely use them on dogs. They then learnt about the components of the Raindrop Technique and how each move helps the dog either physically or emotionally. The students then practised some of the moves on my dogs, ready for Saturday when members of the public bring their dogs for a treatment. 😃

Manuals have been collected from the printers today, dogs and horses have been organised for the students to practice on, and now it's just countdown to Thursday! Can't wait!! 😁
