Cats are very good at pretending everything is fine. Sometimes TOO good.

A change in sleeping spots. Eating a little slower. Grooming less. Wanting more attention than usual. These things can seem small on their own, but they’re often the first clues that something isn’t quite right.

We’ve put together a bit of a guide on the subtle behaviour changes that are worth paying attention to as a cat owner.

Some cats always seem a bit sniffly. It clears up, then comes back, or just never really goes away.

It’s easy to ignore, especially if they seem fine otherwise, but ongoing congestion can start to affect how they eat, breathe and how comfortable they are. Sometimes it’s something simple. Sometimes it isn’t.

We’ve put together a guide to help you get a better sense of what might be going on, and when it’s worth having a vet check it out.

Hairballs. A classic part of life with cats… or are they?

We all expect the occasional surprise on the floor, but if it’s happening more often, it might not just be “one of those things.” Sometimes, frequent vomiting is a sign something else is going on.

Our latest article looks at when a hairball is just a hairball, and when it’s worth digging a little deeper.

Because as much as we love our cats, no one wants an unnecessary repeat performance, or to miss the chance to get on top of it sooner 🐾

As the weather starts to cool, you might notice your cat seeking out warmer spots around the house.

For older cats in particular, cooler temperatures can make joint stiffness more noticeable, especially if they’re living with arthritis.

Simple changes can help keep them comfortable. Warm, soft resting areas, easy access to favourite spots and a bit of extra support getting up and down can all make a difference.

Dr Rachel's beautiful boy, Professor Moriarty, seems to have found an unconventional yet cozy spot right here.
