Colour Circle broke through at Echuca today over a mile under Johnny Allen, saluting for a very deserving and patient ownership group. He came into the race with three second placings on the bounce and was able to go that one better today.

There are a great group of people who are very close to the stable involved in this horse so it’s great to get the result today.

Colour Circle is by Akeed Mofeed and out of the New Approach mare Pink Avenue, making him a half-brother to Pink Beau Ty who we lost too soon. He was a City winner and collected over $215,000 for the stable. There are a few more siblings coming through the stable, including Blue Parrot who has only had a couple of starts.

Eureka Rose was in full bloom at Pakenham tonight to break her maiden in the 1000m dash under Jackie Beriman. It's been a journey with this mare so it's very pleasing to be on the board at just her third career start. Jackie gave her an excellent ride and took the shortcut on the turn to trump them up the inside.

It's always that little bit sweeter winning on the home track and with Jackie who has been doing a lot of work with the stable also. It's also a family we have had a lot to do with and it's yet another winner thrown by the now retired mare Red Margarita. She's been a marvel.
