We are bursting with pride for our amazing Sebbie! 🐾💙✨

Our country boy headed to the big smoke and absolutely rose to the challenge while completing intensive training at RBWH...a huge step towards his next level!

Coming from a regional area, Sebbie hasn’t had much exposure to things like busy traffic, lifts, escalators, massive crowds… and even a helicopter hovering right above him 😳🚁 But did that stop him? Not one bit!

With courage, heart, and that beautiful calm nature we all adore, Sebbie took it all in his stride and handled every moment like a true professional.

Calm Paws supported both Sebbie and Relle every step of the way, giving them the confidence to tackle it all with ease (and maybe a few deep breaths along the way!). 💙

Sebbie has already spent years working in the NDIS space, but this experience was truly next level… and wow, did he shine!

You made us so incredibly proud, Sebbie, and brought smiles, comfort, and joy to everyone lucky enough to meet you. You’re something really special. 🌟🐶💙

PS: To keep it real, on his days off he still likes to pinch socks 🤣

Big news from Calm Paws Dog Training 🐾

Calm Paws is evolving.

While dog training has always been about helping dogs, it’s also always been about helping people.

Over time, one thing has become clear: the connection between our dogs and our mental health is powerful.

So Calm Paws is shifting focus toward supporting mental health through the human–dog bond.

This next chapter will explore how our dogs help us regulate, reconnect, and find calm in the chaos of life.

There will still be plenty of dog wisdom here, but with a deeper focus on wellbeing, resilience, and the healing power of our four legged companions.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Calm Paws so far.

This is just the beginning of something even more meaningful. 💙🐕

🐾 Real Talk: Dogs & Mental Health 🐾

At Calm Paws Dog Training, we know it’s not just about “sit” and “stay.” Our dogs are part of our daily lives.....and for many of us, they’re a huge part of our mental health too. 💛

When we’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or stretched thin, challenging behaviours like pulling on the lead, barking at everything, or jumping on visitors can feel even heavier. And that’s okay to admit.

Training isn’t about being the “perfect” owner. It’s about creating calm, building confidence.... for both you and your dog.

A regulated dog helps create a more regulated home. 🐶✨

Here at Calmpaws we do our best to raise confidence resistant pups. This year we have been bless with these gorgeous pups. We plan to do more litters next year as we work hard to raise puppies to be support dogs to help with emotional regulation ❤️
