We are seeing an INCREASE in paralysis tick cases!

🚨 KNOW THE SIGNS OF TICK PARALYSIS 🚨

Watch for:

⚠️ Wobbly or unsteady walking
⚠️ Weakness, especially in the back legs
⚠️ Difficulty standing or walking
⚠️ Excessive drooling or gagging
⚠️ Vomiting or retching
⚠️ A changed bark or meow
⚠️ Difficulty swallowing
⚠️ Breathing difficulties
⚠️ Collapse

DON’T WAIT — tick paralysis can become life-threatening quickly. Seek veterinary care immediately if you notice any of these signs.

🔎 Check your pet for ticks every day, especially around:

👂 Ears and face
🦴 Neck and under the collar
🐾 Between the toes
💗 Armpits and groin
🐕 Around the tail

By law, dogs must be registered from 12 weeks of age and wear their registration tag in public.

✅ Microchip your dog
✅ Register your dog
✅ Keep your details up to date
✅ Make sure your dog has its registration tag on in public
✅ Renew your registration by 31 August

🐶 Free registration for puppies under 12 months 🐶

Don’t leave it until the last minute — register or renew today. Anyone caught with an unregistered dog could face fines of up to $300. 🐾
