I've finally had time to sit back and reflect on my week at the Royal Melbourne Show 2023,
5 days was more than enough time spent.
I'm extremely happy with results from all dogs I was lucky enough to pilot around the ring.
Thank you to all owners that trusted me to get the best out of their dogs.

BOSTON TERRIERS (46 entered)
All owned and bred by Rod Kirby (Saihabostons Kennels) except Jax who is imported from America
Jax - AM CH AU GR CH Deja-Vu Warrior at Saiha - Royal Result 1st Open Dog, Dog Challenge, Runner up Best of Breed
Speciality Result - 1st Open Dog, Dog Challenge, Runner up Best of Breed
He also went in Junior Handlers with 7 year old Kensi, they only award 1st place and sadly it was not Kensi and Jax's day, They both did really well and made a good team, most importantly they had fun doing it.

1st Intermediate Bitch, Bitch Challenge, Best of Breed
I expected to do well with Lyric, never expected her to take out the Breed in such a competitive line up of lovely dogs and bi***es. Although definite worthy of her win and so happy for her owner/breeder.

1st Junior Dog, Dog Challenge
This has to be the most surprising win of all the dogs I had the pleasure of handling, a very raw young dog that can be unpredictable at times, but he gave it his all and achieved such a great result against so many other lovely dogs.

She's such a cheeky girl that just wants to have fun lol

He gave 110%, worked better than he ever has before but was beaten by some lovely dogs, also beat some lovely dogs too so happy

He went very well especially as he is 5 years and inly ever been handled by his mum, rarely get multiple Briards at a show so it was lovely to see them represent 😉🙂

I personally know this German Shepherd and have handled her in the show ring in the past , please share and help find her a home, her owner must be shattered having to give her up.
She has been trained and cared for in every way and I know she loves her owner and would be so confused having to stay in a kennel away from her mum who has been put into aged care…

Cavoodle Puppy Princess Rosie loves her mat, with lockdown at an end hopefully her mat helps her get used to being home alone while Mum goes back to work.
